I had the chance to work with Michael during my visit to Ireland last month and we had an excellent shoot. Michael is a warm and positive person who made me feel very welcome. He has a lot of meaningful and creative ideas and a great knowledge of light. I truly enjoyed working with Michael and talking to him during my visit. I'm looking forward to our next shoot and highly recommend him to other models.

Michael Hayes is one of the most brilliant photographers than I have encountered. He is absolutely talented at what he does ! He is especially gifted in lighting and portrait photography. He is totally professional in all aspects and is a perfect gentleman. I find him so easy to work with! One of my all time favourite photographers!!!

Michael is a photographic genius! I was truly impressed looking at some of his portfolio work beforehand that I couldn't wait for our shoot.

Michael is a great laugh, easy going and had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve with printouts on a moodboard.

He had also bought along various props and outfits, which was hugely enjoyable to fit in with different and artistic concepts.

Tink Kaos

I shot with Michael yesterday morning/afternoon at his lovely little home studio in Portmarnock, and had the most wonderful time! Two hours just shot by, we created some beautifully emotive pictures (Michael is incredible at imagining and creating concepts, the prints he showed me are powerful - do check them out if you arrange to work with him!), and chatted non-stop for the entire time. He is a kind, artistic, funny individual; I felt comfortable in his presence immediately, and he was ever so polite, constantly topping up water and tea (and biscuits!). Jjust a lovely fellow through and through.

Do work with Michael if you get the chance, I highly recommend him! Until next time my dear.

Michael is awesome to work with! The shoot was relaxed but productive and we got loads of gorgeous images.He is very well organised with lots of ideas and plans! I really enjoyed it, and would recommend anyone shoots with him! Had a lovely day :)

My first shoot with Mike on my recent trip to Ireland!

He is incredibly laid back, really taking his time to master his images rather than just clicking away like a man man.. which is always nice as shows he really cares about what he is producing :)

He was very helpful in the planning stages or our shoot too, I was fretting over public transport with me never using it in Ireland before and it being a strange city but he understood entirely and didn't once get irritated with me and my flapping over it haha :P

Just an overall wonderful experience and one of those down to earth photographers that's a pleasure to work with! Highly recommended and hope to see him again in the future :)

I worked with Michael on a recent tour of Dublin, michaels pre communications were great and we planned two hours in a studio close to Dublin. Michael was kind enough to come and pick me up from my hostel. He came with tons of ideas which were all very different from each other which meant there was so much variety! He also let me freestyle and pose myself to get a nice combination, he was thoughtful and also was very open to hearing my ideas and suggestions on clothing/lighting and poses. A charming and very funny man, I felt comfortable the whole time and so relaxed :)

After our shoot Michael also made sure that I got to the airport with enough time, finding out times for coaches and arranging for me to be dropped off etc which was so helpful and kind.
