My name is Merv and I’m a photographer from East London with an 8-year journey in the captivating realms of portraiture, street, and lifestyle photography.

 

Immersed in the world of cinema and inspired by the artistic direction of Directors of Photography (DoPs), I try to bring a cinematic flair to my work, blending storytelling with visual aesthetics. As photographer I don’t see my job as simply capturing your best side, but to capture the true essence of my subject.

I find joy in shaping light, exploring its nuances to create compelling visuals. While my foundation lies in outdoor/street photography, I am eagerly transitioning towards a more studio-centric style, opening up new avenues for creativity and collaboration.
