It’s Mert here. I am based in London.

I have been taking photographs for 14 years as a professional. Lifestyle photography, wedding, portraits and boudoir are my absolute passions. Photography is much more than a job to me and it’s not only about what I’m shooting, but it’s where photography takes me. My work has been published in local and international press including the Guardian, United Press, Getty Images and… as well as on lots of photography websites. I love the fact that I am freezing a moment in time and I take that responsibility seriously.

I'm active in 2 different fields of photography and am looking for models for both:

1. Stock photography

These are paid photoshoots, where the images will be used in advertising. These shoots are usually 2 to 4 hours, depending on how many scenarios we decide to do. But usually it takes 2 hours. The model is wearing casual day-to-day clothing with neutral make-up and portrays a certain scenario: "girl in city streets doing shopping", "woman at home using phone and computer", "friends hiking in nature", etc.

Posing is natural and almost non-existing. It's more like playing/imagining a character and doing some stuff, while being photographed. These are actually fun shoots to do 

As model, you have to realize that the images will/can be used in magazines, book covers, adverts, etc.
I used to use my family or friends as models in the past, and they're proud to appear on a few book covers and magazines

Signing a Model release is required. It protects both you, the model, against certain usage of your images, and me, the photographer as well, where you allow me to use the images. I will gladly send a copy of the model release upon simple request. It's quite short, so I advise to read it.

For these kinds of shoot I have a fixed payment per 2 hours.

2. Fine art photography

These are shoots for my own artistic development and growth. Most of the images in my portfolio here are in this category.
Currently I prefer to to mainly TFP collaborations, where I don't pay you as model, but we both benefit from the resulting images. This is great if you're a beginning model and want to build your portfolio.

Mostly I use film camera for this shoot. My fine art photography ranges from dressed portraits, up to artistic nude or semi-nude. My passion lies in romantic, dreamy, portraits images. I also love doing darker more conceptual work.

To me, it's important to have the shoot respect the character and personality of the model. If you have an idea, wish or concept you'd like us to work on, by all means let me know
