I set myself the objective of improving my photography when I retired. After many years of snapping, I suddenly realised the vast breadth that photography covers, both in technology and compositional skills. I want to learn new skills and challenge myself with new projects.

I do not want to do wedding type photography but like the idea of trying to flatter people with good portraits and figure studies. I am open to any reasonable proposition that enables a picture to tell a good story.  The good story bit is what I am  finding difficult to regularly achieve. Therefore more practice is required with input and inspiration from those who also take part in my photography.
