Hi, I have several years under my belt in the world of digital photography, and am an old enthusiast for film photography with several different cameras that I dig out once in a while (although the cost of film and processing is now getting a bit steep - so if I bring out a film camera feel honoured).  I started this as part of a book project I am working on which involves recreating the style of book covers popular in the 1970's - a model, a simple back drop and a few accessories to complete the scene. The first of these is soon available on a wonderful new platform! - "Billie Rubin - Exploits"

I am looking to expand my photography style with different models and different locations. I'm pretty organized when I plan a shoot but am also happy to take inspiration and ideas for shots in places I have never seen before.   I have no real goals but to find likeminded models that are willing to take a chance and see if anything magical happens with the photos and to enjoy the process of creating the perfect shot.

Join me in my Journey away from over produced "photoshop" shots that are now dominating social and photography platforms and enjoy the process of creating unedited pictures in a variety of styles and settings. My own goal is the enjoyment of photography in its simplest form.
