Shot with Mel yesterday at her home outside of Durham. The first thing I would say is that Mel explained that following a period of ill health she was less able to concentrate and this meant she wasn't as prepared as she might have liked, so I spent a little time rearranging furniture before we started and tried to make things as easy as I could for her throughout. This pays off because she was co-operative and collaborative throughout our shoot and so we captured some different looks together in the short time I had before another appointment. Go armed with some ideas, a little patience and flexibility and Mel will deliver; her experience is clear and together we produced some fab shots.

Mel was great fun to work with. Excellent communication beforehand and we discussed locations and styles. Mel was super friendly and very easy to work with. We shot in her garden and in the countryside a few minutes walk away. Mel poses with or without direction and has loads of ideas.

Already thinking about another shoot.

Wow, what can I say. Melanie saved the day by agreeing to an impromptu shoot with only an hour’s notice after another model unfortunately cancelled on me.

Melanie is super friendly and is willing to take direction regarding poses as well as offering her own input with some excellent ideas being put forward.

I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Melanie to any photographer out there, experienced or otherwise.

Home shoot wil Melanie today..First Class model.. Wondeful and fun to work with. So professional she must have wrote the book a 1,000,000 poses.

(Home shoot) great location plenty of windows for natural light. Empty room with white walls ideal for powerplash and soft box worked very well.

I have one complaint...she had no milk!!!!...yes that's right no milk for tea.

Joke Mel....Melanie it's a joke. She made up by making me a cup of wonderful hot chocolate.

I worked with Melanie on a fashion video shoot yesterday. She was great to work with and very easy to get on which made the shoot so relaxed and fun. She is a professional at your work and would recommend to shoot with her. I was as over the moon with the results of the video we produced.

As normal, what can be said about Mel that hasn't been said already ? I first shot with her about 11 years ago and I dare say we have shot many many times more since and she still get s better and is a timeless model.

Always meticulous in her approach and delivery and always knows what she wants from a shoot and good with her make-up and styling too.

Her home is spot on as a shooting venue, being roomy and airy with plenty of natural light and with good surrounding locations too.

Will certainly recommend to shoot with and will no doubt shoot again at some point in the future and pleased to say that I call her a friend and can always rely on her to get exactly the right shot.

I had my second ever shoot with Mel, probably more years ago than either of us want to remember, and we’ve shot regularly since both solo and with other models

The reason I keep going back to Mel is she totally understands there’s a lot more to being a good model than just good looks, she understands good models have to be consistent, reliable, hardworking and organised too

Mel is all of these things plus she’s fun to work with and doesn’t take herself too seriously

Melanie is very friendly and professional. The shoot was arranged at short notice and boy I am glad I took the chance to work with a wonderful, brilliant model. We chose to shoot outside without lights. The weather was on our side. Melanie is brilliant at taking ideas and working with them. For example we were on the millennium Bridge and I chose to use a long lens. Neither of us could hear each other because of the distance, but we managed to get some great shots. She is unfazed by members of the public, remains calm and professional. Lots of passersby marvelled at how wonderful she was. I am definitely going to work with Melanie again.

An impromptu shoot with Melanie was arranged after I picked up a casting she had made, due to a cancellation with another photographer. I was pleased I responded, because Melanie was fantastic to work with, comms were great, turned up on time. Melanie came well prepared, a number of outfit changes and required no direction at all. Can't wait to work with Melanie again, highly recommend !

Always happy to shoot with Mel and we go waaaaaay back. I did Mel's second shoot all those years ago and we always manage to get together to shoot and catch up and the camera never gets tired of her. Such a lovely girl to shoot with, very elegant and always delivers and now that she is re-invigorating her modelling I can't recommend her highly enough.

I shot with Meljust over a week ago in a local town, we were lucky enough to have weather on our side. Mel has a great personality, very easy to get on with, showed up on time with a great selection of outfits, and was very patient when things weren't quite going to the plan with my lights. I would highly recommend and I am sure I will arrange another shoot soon

Fixed up a last minute shoot with Melanie and so pleased I did she is an absolute delight to work with and photograph. She came more than well prepared to work the theme of the day straight into character admirably patient and produced some great images.

Highly recommended and will definitely be shooting with Melanie again soon.

Melanie expressed an interest in working with me and contacted me late at night before the shoot day and communicated with me quickly and in great detail (and helped me out with trains and stuff) and we did a last min spur of the moment shoot on the following day.

Melanie turned up bang on time and looking amazing as ever. I'd previously checked out her folio and she looks exactly like her pictures, beautiful and radiant. We went for a quick cuppa to go over the final details and get to know each other a little better and she is very easy to get along with and we soon had a good rapport going.

On the shoot Melanie was full of ideas and had brought several changes of outfit that really suited the scene and the weather. We shot for about 90 minutes due to the cold getting to both of us and she worked non stop and put 100% into everything.

The images I got due to great lighting and a great model where superb and I am really happy with my time spent with Melanie. I had a great shoot and went home in a rather chipper mood :)

I look forward to shooting with Melanie in the near future to get more great pics and briefly discussed it with her. I really do hope she takes me up on my offer as I think I only just scratched the surface with Melanie and think there is a lot more I can do :)

Highly Recommended to all photographers and urge that you contact her soon as I know she is getting booked a lot over the coming months.
