Today I met and worked with Mel at my home. We shoot fashion/portrait with a little boudoir thrown in for good measure.

Mel arrived promptly with a big smile on his face. Once I showed him around the space I have to work in, we had a cuppa then got to work. Mel brought lots of equipment, backdrop and lights. He a whizz with it all and really does know how to set up the lighting which made me pop.

Had such a lovely shoot with Mel and I’d thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

What a bloody pleasure it was meeting Mel for the first time! :)

Pre comms were excellent, he got in touch with me only the evening before to arrange a last minute shoot for the following days, and we had a shoot booked in about four messages! He arrived bang on time at my home, and well equipped with lights, lenses, and ideas.

We had a good ole chat over teas and coffees to start the day off, and then got down to business, we shot a mixture of lifestyle, portraits, fashion, art nude, and fashion nudes throughout the house. Mel is a dream photographer to work with as he’s so bubbly and fun, always happy to hear what the models thoughts are on the images and it was so lovely to just get creative and have such a relaxed shoot. I love that Mel doesn’t rush anything, he’s more than happy to sit and have a chat when on a break, and when shooting he takes his time to get the shot just right, definitely quality over quantity :D

Such a great day, and we got some stunning shots that I’m so excited to see! And he comes very highly recommended by me!

I worked with the lovely Mel for the fourth, fifth time?

He is an absolute sweetheart, he is one of my favourite photographers to be with because he is such a genuine person, always full of encouragement, he makes me feel like the most talented model in the universe when I shoot with him. He takes breaks regularly and loves a good cup of tea!

He is a skilled photographer and this time we were shooting for a his panel submission. I loved the shots on the back of camera and I really hope we get to work together again in 2018!

Mel has been on my want to work with list for far too long. But it was totally worth the wait. I was super thrilled when I saw he'd applied to my casting. Mel's precomms were excellent and I knew exactly what we were going to shoot and the tempo of the shoot also.

Mel was super understanding when I had to push back the shoot a couple of hours due to my damn migraines, he was completely empathetic of the whole situation and I'm so so grateful for that.

When I was finally feeling better, we got round shooting right away, working considerately and carefully to get the shots he was looking for. Mel is extremely knowledgeable, knows exactly what he wants and how to achieve it and I am a huge advocate for this controlled and organised way of working. Super easy to work with, Mel allowed me to pose fluently, stopping to let me see BOC so I know where I am and moving from set to set with no hassle and without exhausting ideas to death which is a real breath of fresh air.

After working for a short while in the house, we moved on to a local nature reserve and managed to get some wonderful art nudes there, the rain held off for us luckily and the BOC looks absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, some bastards decided to ransack Mel's car while we were there, which I'm still super angry about. Mainly because it could not have happened to a nicer person and I hate shit things happening to good people! But hopefully that should be sorted reasonably soon (I hope anyway!)

So after a drama filled day, I can honestly say Mel is top notch. He is a complete gentleman, it was like having conversations with an old friend rather than someone I've just met. Nothing is too much bother for Mel and he is every bit as good as his portfolio shows.

Thank you so much for the wonderful shoot, Mel! I hope it's not too long before we can shoot again, I can't wait to see the results you're an absolute star!!xx

Mel came along to the Budapest fashion experience shoot organised by Conrad Webb. I have worked with Mel on numerous occasions and this was our first time doing so abroad. He is an absolutely great guy, fun to work with, hard working, respectful and has a smashing sense of humour. i always feel at ease working with Mel; he has an abundance of ideas and was open to any i had. Great eye for images and an absolute pleasure to model for.

After admiring Mels work for a while i was delighted to hear that he would be joining us on our group shoot event we were hosting in Budapest organised by Conrad Webb.

Mel was an absolute treat to work with, so polite, courteous 100% respectful to both myself and fellow model Atalanta and great fun. His passion shows clearly in his work.

Aside from that he is just a lovely guy in general. over the course of the few days he was here it was great spending time with him along with the other members that joined him. Such a lovely bunch.

Id highly recommend Me to anyone lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with him. Youll have a fantastic shoot with great results and i hope to have the pleasure of working with him again in the future.

I met Mel on a studio day and we worked together for the second time last week.

Mel is very enthusiast in his emailing with fast responses and clear info given prior to the shoot. He is a very sweet person who even brought me cookies so you can't go wrong with that!!

He is easy to get along with before/during/after the shoot as he gives clear instructions on what he's looking for. Chatty and a gentleman overall.

Highly Recommended with capital H.R.!!

Myself and Mel arranged a very last minute shoot a couple of weeks back, we just improvised and I bought a load of random clothes!

Mel had already thought out a location for us to shoot from in St Ives, it was beautiful.. Couldn't ask for better weather

Mel is easy to get along with infact i would describe him as a friend, had a giggle and most of all got some incredible shots!

Reliable, fun, open to styling and makeup

Just a brilliant guy aswell as photographer!

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Mel for the second time at the WindmillArt Studio, for an event organised by Beachview. Mel is always professional, easy to get along with, friendly and respectful at all times. Whilst shooting Mel was able to spot very quickly where we should shoot and whether what we had in mind could work. We managed to do two sets.One was fashion based and the other involved me jumping with a font.

I absolutely love the results that I have seen so far and could not be happier. The jump images are particularly special. Thank you once again, and I do hope, we work together again soon. Definitely, highly recommended:).

I have worked with the lovely Mel yesterday in Cambridge at a festival shoot organised by Vic (Beachview) at Windmill Art Studio.. we both worked at the derelict swimming pool located outside the studio.. (and need to mention it again - it was my favorite place of the day!! :))

Mel has been respectful towards me at all times... with a great eye to spot angles and poses that worked with the place, he communicated efficiently with me and provided great feedback during the shoot. Mel is a friendly person and he makes you feel such at ease when working with him. He showed me the images on the back of the camera (which I appreciated!) and they looked absolutely fantastic !!! Can not wait to see the results :)

He is certainly highly recommended by me and would love to work together again. Thank you, Mel for an awesome time at the swimming pool !! :) Mona x
