My name is Melissa Solano.

 I am the head designer and cofounder of Secrets&Desires brand.

I am from Costa Rica, a beautiful tropical green country and since college I have been lucky

to be able to travel around the world and get to know different peoples and cultures.

I was always attracted by the extraordinary, intense, and different energy transmitted by

Rave festivals or BDSM culture.

 Long before 50 Shades fever hit, I started to use Rave and

BDSM cultures for my fashion inspiration and take a walk on the wild side.

Once, the domain of dungeon-dwelling dominatrix, bondage-themed style, started to enter in the mainstream of alternative fashion and gradually join the fashion of rave festivals. slowly, slowly turning into a single concept.

The modern woman is a strong, free woman who is not ashamed to show her freedom

through fashion.

We believe there are no more boundaries between clothing styles. For example, the sports

style can be combined with the elegant one without question.

That's what we do in Secrets Desires, we erase these boundaries and preconceptions about

clothing styles, and we restore women's freedom in fashion. When we create most of our

clothes and accessories, we create them to fit very well for any size and body shapes.

Its well known that our bodies go through cycles, just like life. Being a woman, I know

how our bodies can change depending on where we are in our cycles, so I have taken this

into consideration when designing our products. Our Goal is to make women feel

comfortable, sexy & confident.

What does a modern woman want? to be sexy, different, and seen.

I produce garments that are stylistically pretty different, I try not to limit myself or set

boundaries.
