References for Meg Modelling

Just wow... Meg and I have just finished one of my favourite shoots. She came all the way from Birmingham to shoot with me in a studio I had rented in London and we had an absolute blast. I normally like to plan a shoot with a mood board and suggest a few outfits, but this was all spontaneous, raw creativity and Meg gave every shot 110%.

I think it is fair to say that we both connected and that trust unlocked some very real and honest shots that I know I will enjoy editing for ... well it's going to take a while as we have both selected so many images to edit from our session together.

She is a very genuine person which comes across in her work. Her Uni course in Photography has given her a great platform in which she can appreciate both sides of the camera, so whilst I did give her some direction, in truth she knew exactly what she was doing. Her profile suggests she is model/photographer, but you'd be forgiven for thinking she was an actress given the emotion in the images from today.

I sit here writing this feeling very lucky to have met her today and I can't wait to shoot together again.

Finally we shot….it seems an age since we booked this shoot and I have been waiting as patiently as I can to shoot with Megan cos I’ve seen and admired so much of her work. And my god it was worth the wait. Meg is so natural in front of camera, so gifted at what she does and phenomenally beautiful to boot.

She has all the traits of the best models I’ve worked with; as well as those listed above, Meg cares about the results and has a genuine passion for photography and strives to deliver on every set. She works tirelessly, is fab to chat to whilst setting up and contributes her own ideas and is simply fantastic. Four hours flew by far too fast.

She is one of those genuinely lovely characters who effervesces positivity in a warm calm way, and she deserves every success; booking Meg will be one of the best things you can do. Put it this way, it will not be the last time we shoot!

I shot with Meg at the end of last year at Basford, and it was brilliant, but we didn't manage to get through some of the styles and ideas that I had. A great excuse to shoot with Meg again.

This was a studio shoot near to both of us, and we shot fashion, implied and art nude. Meg was superb at posing, had some wonderful suggestions and was keen to see the shots and improve on them where she could.

Above all, Meg was great to talk to - very easy to get on with and I really enjoyed the shoot. Needless to say, we got some fabulous images.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

We first met Megan back in April when she came to do a group shoot and it was an absolute pleasure to welcome her back again this month for a sold out studio day.

Pre comms with Megan were great, she kept me updated with bookings and if there were any changes needed prior to the event. Shoot day arrived and as did a whole heap of snow!!! Did this deter Megan? Absolutely not!! She arrived on time, full of enthusiasm and ready to shoot.

Megan worked well with every photographer who had booked on to the event and was very happy to head out into the elements to capture so many truly beautiful images!! She is a complete professional and clearly very knowledgeable about her craft. She was wonderful to have around and was very happy to ask if she ever needed anything.

We would highly reccomend Megan, she is polite, bubbly, friendly and we can't wait to see her again soon!! Thanks Megan!!

I've wanted to visit Basford Hurst Cottage for a while, and wanted to shoot with Megan for ages, so when the two came up together with Meg holding a studio day at Basford, I was there!

Meg was brilliant. Turned up promptly, was very easy to get on with and brought all the clothing that we'd discussed beforehand. The emotion that she puts into shots is exceptional.

Meg knows her stuff, posed brilliantly and was helpful with suggestions, but very happy to take instructions.

The hours flew by, we got some great images and I'm already looking forward to our next shoot. Recommended with no hesitation.

Meg is a wonderful model. Really creative and poses effortlessly.. also a big fan of the spooky images so it made my Halloween themed shoot even better and definitely felt collaborative.

I had the pleasure of working with Meg for a week during her Croatian trip where she was modeling as part of the great Artemisian team. You get a good insight into the way people work in that time. Sometimes the connection works and sometimes it doesn't. As far as Meg is concerned it most certainly did. We seemed to form a great working relationship from the start and as the week progressed my respect for her talent increased daily. A very gifted model who can turn her hand to most styles. Her knowledge as a photographer helped enormously and our best images were really a collaboration in the truest sense. On top of that she is a delightful lady. Just good to be with. Meg was one of the models for my recent Artemisian trip to Croatia and we quickly established an excellent working relationship. She is enormous fun to work with, her talent and bubbly personality showing through in everything we did. Nothing was too much trouble either - "just lie on that rock and let the waves crash over you"! :-)

I want to work again with her in the future, and you should, too. Absolutely recommended!

Okay, lets talk about Meg.

What an amazing model. A classic look that blends so well with so many different styles, natural grace and poise, an amazing attitude and personality and endless poses but not only that,

Shes an incredible model underwater with one of the longest breath holds outside of our house models. Seriously thought she might have grown gills at one point!

To say she is a natural in the water is a serious understatement!

I had the pleasure of working with the amazing Megan after we had exchanged emails and put together a plan for the various sets I wanted to shoot.

We started with fashion & gobo patterns which I was styling and Megan was happy to wear the outfit.

Her natural poses and working together to get the lighting effect right, gave us some great shots.

Second set was B&W hard light and everything she wore was B&W.

We had great fun with this, using posing blocks and she was great with some tricky balancing poses that she had suggested and I loved the results.

During a break, I had shown her some photos of Regina and she said she really wanted to do this and with the lighting I had used.

These were Artistic Nudes.

With her help we changed the set and started fine tuning the lights and backdrop.

Practiced some poses with the golden shawl to help me visualise the shot.

We started and Megan effortlessly posed herself as well as taking onboard some suggestion from me.

What came from this set was a complete surprise to me.

We knew we had some really good ones, having looked back of camera and a few really jumped out.

I selected a couple to start with and fine tuned the photo, ready to publish.

After one was up, I started receiving a log a great feedback and likes.

It then was given a FPI and I was delighted to see that, as we both worked hard on these.

After that I just watched in amazement as the numbers climbed and now Megan has the most likes of any of my photos.

Thank you so very much Megan. It was a perfect collaboration.

I will most definitely be working with her again and can whole heartedly recommend her for any photographer looking to create amazing photos.

PGD Modelling and Photography Studios

Megan arrived on time and well prepared for the days shoot.

During the day she was an absolute pleasure with some fantastic posing and styling.

First Megan shoot 1-2-1 with one of regulars, before heading into a group session for our Creative Photography Events shooters. During this time we tried some new lighting techniques for both our members and Megan a like. Megan took to the techniques and posed naturally with the light giving some first class images throughout.
