Medusa Bites

I am a lover of the strange and the dark.

Magic and ritual is very important to me, and is a big part of my artistic expression. I am a multidisciplinary performance artist; I make art that fuses nature, animism, ecosexuality, worship, mythology, folklore, madness and power play, using mediums of dance, movement, spoken word, burlesque and circus arts. I especially welcome shoots that draw on these themes and mediums. I get a lot of inspiration from the magic of nature, particularly the elements of water and earth. I am most at home in the forest with my claws in the soil, or submerged in the dark depths of bodies of water. ♥

I am hairy, which is one of my affinities with Medusa. I am proud to have prominent body and facial hair and revel in subverting social norms of beauty and gender. I am particularly interested in working with photographers who want to work with my hair.

I am gender-fluid, meaning I like to play with gender expression and do not identify as man or woman - I am somewhere in between. I am happy to play with gender in varied ways in a shoot.

I am keen on art nude shoots, and anything that is strange, dark or surreal! I also enjoy fetish/ BDSM shoots. I have a wide waldrobe full of strange attire that can be used, especially costumes that I have made for performance - including a Sea Witch costume made of seaweed.

I can also combine circus arts into shoots; I am an advanced hula hooper, with LED hoops. I can also spin with fire and have a fire hoop, fire fans and fire fingers.

I am happy to travel to shoots if fuel cost can be paid for. I will travel 1.5hours for a 2+ hour shoot, or more for a longer shoot. 

Outside of modelling and performance art, I am also a visual artist, a postgraduade student of philosophy, and am passionate about herbal medicine and experimental music.
