Just had an amazing shoot with mbirchamphoto,great communication and fantastic atmosphere as always especially as we done a shoot both of us have never done before but I can't wait to see the photos.

A great shoot with Mike today, his first in two years! Mike found an excellent WW2 Camp location right on my doorstep and booked us into the group shoot there. Mike's pre comms were great and he gave me all the details / directions etc. Mike was welcoming when I arrived, and we had good chat and laughter during the shoot. It was easy to get inspired, with so many army props and vehicles to shoot with. The 3 hours absolutely flew at the camp and thankfully, we were able to get round everything we wanted to shoot with. Mike was easy going and professional throughout the shoot and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. I can't wait to see the results from today as I felt we bounced off each other really well and I think it will definitely reflect well in the photos. Definitely shoot with Mike if you get the chance to, an all round down to earth guy. Thanks for a great shoot Mike :) x

I had a great shoot with Mike earlier in the week who as always was super fun to work with and full of great ideas :) Mike is a really respectful photographer with a lovely laid back approach to photography and a really nice shooting style :)

Had my first ever shoot today and it was brilliant! He made me feel so comfterble in seconds. Pre comms were brilliant. Could not reccomend a better photographer. So easy going and nice to talk to and a laugh. He is so patient especially cause I like to goof off a bit he didnt seem to care at all. Will definitley be seeing about working with him again in the future! Cant wait to see the shots!

I arrived to his place and he was very welcoming :)

We only done a short shoot but we got a lot done in that short amount of time and I enjoyed all of creative ideas that he had!

He was very polite and professional and made me feel comfortable during our shoot

Sanctum Southampton

A little late posting this review but better late than never ;-)

Mike hired sanctum for one of his shoots and he was a pleasure to meet, I particularly offer to meet the photographers before their shoot to show them around and allowing them enough time to set up before the model arrives.

Sanctum was looked after and returned as it was given, clean and tidy.

We would welcome Mike back anytime and thank you again for choosing Sanctum for your shoot

Mike was a delight to shoot with today, doing some fashion in and around Portsmouth which was lovely to get back into shooting for both of us. Mike is able to give direction when needed and shows what the images look like on the camera so you have an idea which I appreciate.

Done some rope work today. I travels from the Isle of Wight and was collected at the hover port. He was punctual and lovely and very chatty. He explained what would happen. We went through all the safety aspects and made it apparent that models comfortability and safety is the most important.

His messages were all clear and communication through message and in person was great. We had a great laugh too!

Considering I am trying things out of my comfort zone he made me feel comfortable and confident and I had an amazing time and would love to work with him again. He has a very strong passion for both photography and rope work.

OH YES...I think we both suprised each other how well we did today haha...Mike got really unique lighting in 5 mins (no exaggeration) and we got some amazing images together...Mike is professional, very respectable, down to earth and easy to get on with...Would I work with Mike again...erm...haha definitely...Mike doesn't take himself too seriously and is right up my street...

Had a fab shoot with mike. We finished off the shoot last night from last week as the weather got so bad. He’s a lovely guy and knows what he wanted from it. We got some great shots doing urban risqué and def would like to shoot with him again. Great comms and planning too.

Sinopa Rin

It was a pleasure to meet Mike during our brief shoot yesterday. Things didn't quite go to plan but Mike was very calm and professional, and we ended up getting some great images using flash and available light at dusk. Pre-comms were excellent - I was even given a moodboard which is always very helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike and would be delighted to do so again. Recommended.

Barefoot

I applied for a casting with 24 hours notice. Communication was great before and after the shoot. He had his own ideas and was receptive to mine. His location hunt came up trumps and we spent a couple of hours in the fading light and sea breeze getting some great images.

I would definitely work with Popeye again, and would recommend him to others. He was fun, professional and kept me in the loop with his progress on edits.

Harley Runner

Had an amazing shoot with Mike! We got some really awesome sets done and the images were amazing! His skills are great and allowed us to get some fantastic images!

I would love to work with him again and I 100% recommend him!

This would be my 15th one to one shoot with Popeye.

He arrived on time and ready to go.

Unfortunately our shoot was cut short due to some joggers but we go some amazing images.

All in all I would definitely recommend Popeye and will be working with him again.

Had a great shoot with Mike last weekend, I've applied to his casting call last minute, which he replied back very quickly and we arranged a shoot. He was really respectful and very friendly and chatty through the shoot, made me feel very relaxed. It was a really good shoot altogether, and I'm happy I've applied to his casting call! I can't wait to see the images, and would love to work with Mike again in the future :) Recommended!

I had an great shoot with Mike today. We had fun trying all types of new styles. The pre comms look good and I cannot wait to see the finished editions, once they are finished.
