References for Makeup Max [ Max Van De Banks]

I worked with Max again yesterday as part of a collaboration with photographer Andy (Strange Soul) and it was a great shoot!

I’ve worked with Max a couple of times now on both film sets and as part of photoshoots and his work is always excellent. He is lovely and we always have a good chat beforehand! His attention to detail is excellent and his work is always incredibly professional.

I dislocated my shoulder earlier in the week and Max was very accommodating and was very helpful when I needed a hand adding the finishing touches to the costume!

I would definitely recommend Max and would love to work with him again!

I work with max again on the 08/04/18 .As always he made this shoot work, with his Magic touch making a Pre-Raphaelite look come to life , he also helped out with styling the set. Cant wait to work with hem again and again Thank's Max for another great shoot

I had the joy of working with Max today. Such an amazing talented guy. We had a brief for the shoot for a pre raphalite look and Max perfectly mirrored my makeup to the outfit and setting.

The images as a result are amazing and I adore them.

When I arrived for our planned shoot Max was already working on the makeup for the model and it was obvious that I was watching the master at work. Max's attention to detail for evident and the end result was exactly what was needed.

Max is also great company and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. I would love the opportunity to work with Max again one day soon.

I would recommend Max to any model or photographer wanting really professional makeup.

Max was an absolute artist! He was very hospitable and welcoming, and within moments he managed to turn me into a rough looking Victorian bill Sykes with scars and all.... Would love to work with him again.

Had the great pleasure to work with Max yet again alongside Andy Peters for a full days shoot. His attention to detail is perfect and I can't fault his skills and professionalism in any way. Plus he's got a great sense of humour to match. Highly recommend him everyone looking for a top artist!!!

Max was the MUA on a shoot I did with Andy Peters and he was excellent. Max turned up on time with Andy and was very friendly and explained each step of the makeup process so I understood what to expect. We chatted throughout and I loved the finished makeup and I can't wait to see how the photos look. Max also came on the shoot and very kindly held my props and jacket for me throughout. I would love to work with Max again in the future and I definitely recommend.

I had an idea for a shoot so got in touch with max , I had worked with him before so knew he would know how to make the character with prosthetic sfx makeup omg awesome anyway photos say more then words it the ape photos .. Max is Fullly recommended by me and loved to work with him again :-) p.s thank's max your work is fantastic :-)

I got work with Max today (18/12/2016) due to a shoot organised by Andy Peters. The shoot was based around the Planet of The Apes type shoot. This is the 1st time I have worked with a make up artist and had anything to do with prosthetics. Max explained exactly what I would feel as the prosthetics were applied, and how long it would take to apply the makeup. I felt relaxed and comfortable, and often asked if I needed a break. Max is very professional and his attention to detail is amazing. Thank you Max. I look forward to working with you again. I fully recommend working with this guy.

Wow!! What a superbly talented gentleman Max is!! I worked with him and Andy Peters on a Pan themed shoot, very welcoming and great sense of humour. Like it says on the tin SFX EFFECTS Max worked on a shoot with my self and Johnny O. It required a master level of special effect make-up skills and he did splendidly .Working quickly , efficient and yet precise and the results left us in awe. Hope to work with Max on more projects together! 5 star recommendation
