Makeup Max [ Max Van De Banks]

 Hello  Max here I'm a Freelance makeup artist and the name behind Makeup by MaximumEffect. I had a love of film from an early age and went on to work in the industry in design, my interest in character creation took me in to the makeup department and prosthetics and in 1999 formed MaximumEffect which supplies makeup design and application for all types of media projects.

I have worked on film and TV productions here in the UK and also in  Asia and Europe.

Working in all roles within the makeup department from a daily artist to head of department, I have designed and applied makeup for film, stage, music videos, editorial, corporate and red carpet events.

I have worked with all  film forms from Super 35 mm to 16 mm, video, HDV, RedCam and High resolution photography.

I have skills in all areas of makeup application from corrective to character, period to prosthetics and SFX effects.

I carry a full range of makeup including Airbrush and products for casualty effects.

Working in the industry for so many years now and looking to slow down to work more locally in the Herefordshire , Gloucestershire and Worcestershire areas.

 I'm looking to collaborate with  local creative photographers and stylists on photo shoots
