Matriix

Matt recently contacted me about a photographic project he was working on with an invitation to be included.

The concept as he described it sounded both exciting and intriguing to me.

We communicated initially by telephone to loosely establish potential themes, attire and ultimately book the shoot into the diary.

On shoot day itself, upon arrival at the Matt's studio I found him to be friendly, charismatic and welcoming.

Our more in depth pre shoot conversation involved a visual and verbal explanation of the theme together with a discussion around our respective backgrounds and what Matt as the artist was looking to capture in me as the subject.

This shoot proved to be both enjoyable and interesting as with each round of shooting we took the time to sit down and mutually review images on a big desktop computer screen.

Matt is very meticulous in his work and contemplated everything from portrayal of emotion and aura to colour composition.

This was a shoot which gave me the opportunity to look at myself from a whole different perspective.

Matt has great enthusiasm for his work and is the perfect professional. I would definitely work with him again so he is highly recommended by me.

Managed to squeeze in a last minute shoot with Matt this evening in Bristol.

He's clearly very creative and had lots of great ideas. He was very friendly and respectful and had a pretty clear idea of what he wanted to achieve which made it a really interesting and fun shoot.

I'd love to work with him again and would be more than happy to recommend him!

Matt came to work with me on my studio day at studio 58 and came along which such an amazing idea something i have never shot before. Totally respectful while we shot for two hours and easy to work with and knew how to help to get the shots he wanted and the shots he had in mind
