References for Matt Whitby Photography

Had a great shoot with Matt. We had arranged at short notice, but Matt had plenty of ideas that we worked through, with clear directions given. Matt was also happy to work with some of my ideas. In total we shot for 2 hours and could easily have carried on for longer, hopefully we will do another shoot very soon.

This was my second shoot with Mat, it couldn’t have gone any better.

Matt shared plenty of creative ideas and mood boards prior to the shoot enabled me to share my thoughts and we both built on those. Matt come to the station to collect me, didn’t take long to start taking the first images and the day flowed with creativity.

Matt is the friendliest photographer you could ask for, so professional with an eye for detail and stunning creativity. My second shoot with Matt was pure joy, so pleased with what we managed to create together.

The following day we continued with a few solo shots before a second model arrived and seamlessly moved into a duo shoot. This continued being full of creativity and relaxed, as if we’d all worked together many times before.

I can’t recommend Matt enough, so professional, talented and a complete gentleman… Thank you Matt, I hope we get to work together again soon.

I loved working with Matt having followed him for a number of years. He loves and lives his art and it's so amazing to work with him on one of his shoots. We had good chats beforehand, easy to organise and tremendous on the day.

Matt is uber creative but also really easy going which made for a wonderful shoot. I did a duo with Harry and can't wait for the output, Matt created a welcoming and dynamic space and it was a pleasure to work with him. We did a range of styles and setups and he was open to ideas but also fantastic in direction. Would happily work with him again.

It was my first shoot with Matt today and I couldn't have met a nicer photographer.

Matt was extremely professional from the start to finish. He was welcomed with a warm brew of coffee while he set up his equipment then had a chat about our ideas. Matt always throughout the whole shoot made sure I was comfortable 1st and foremost! I can't stress how much easier this made our shoot, it felt more like a catch up with a friend and that we'd shot before! Not only is Matt extremely warm and hospitable he's fantastic at what he does, his eye for detail and endless ideas it was nothing short of a pleasure to work with him and I'm sure this will be one of many amazing shoots!

A great photographer, very artistic and would definitely love to shoot with him again, and is highly recommended. :-)

Had my first shoot with Matt and I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable experience, with our pre-shoot communications/mood boards and ideas the shoot soon got into full swing.

Matt was a true gent, checking throughout the shoot that I was comfortable, the studio for the shoot had some amazing spaces. Unfortunately, our time passed by way too quickly but was the most enjoyable day and look forward to seeing the results.

I would recommend Matt 100% true professional, creative, imaginative and so personable… I look forward to working with Matt again and we are already bouncing ideas from each other.

Had a brilliant shoot with Matt 2 weeks ago. Communication beforehand was great, and we came up with some great ideas before the shoot. On the day we covered loads of different styles, poses and ideas, but also played it by ear and went for spontaneous decisions which turned out at least just as good as the planned ones. Matt is a very creative photographer who's great at communicating his ideas and giving instructions, but more than happy to create something completely different. I would highly recommend working with Matt, as he's highly professional and easy going

Yesterday I had an excellent shoot with Matt at Shaftesbury Photography studio in Burton on Trent. The studio was very well equipped, with plenty of natural light and many good rooms to work in, with the two staircases and the main studio being particularly good to work in. Matt was an interesting and talented photographer to work with, as we moved from portrait shoots to implied nudes and more abstract ideas. Having seen some of the images in the back of the camera, I look forward to seeing Matt's finished work. He was easy and interesting to work with, and I would highly recommend him.

Matt was brilliant. As a novice to modeling he helped me out no end. Gave great advice and explained everything to me. He is very passionate about his work and a very friendly person.

He showed me some of the photos on his camera and I am very impressed with his work.

I would highly recommend Matt and would happily work with him again.

Matt is a very driven, creative photographer who knows exactly what he wants. His expression when he captures that shot is instantly recognisable thanks to his smile. He is very affable and makes you feel very relaxed immediately. What makes it most exciting for a model is that you just don't know what he is going to come up with next and it makes it all fun. I enjoyed the shoot thoroughly and look forward to the next time.
