References for Matt Harper

For the first time ever, I am at a loss of word's and have sat here for the past hour thinking what to put.....

I finally met Mr Harper on Monday after what has felt like the wait of a lifetime... Well , ok, Three months. On my arrival, I was greeted by a man who looked like he had just gotten out of bed after spending the night with two nymphomaniac's (The just f****d look) Only after using his bathroom, I noticed his hair gel and realized the "look" was created on purpose ;-)

I then met Boris and Gus who are totally adorable, with one having a Ugg boot fetish and couldn't help but pluck off the fur off my boots, even though I still had my feet in them !! So , models beware !! leave the Ugg's at home ;-)

I must say though I have to agree, Matt is a total perv and great fun to go with it ! He even went as far as to encourage Boris and Gus to bury their heads right in between "the twinz" ! He has the photographic evidence to prove it !!

All joke's aside now, Matt you are still a pervert and I can't wait to shoot with you, Boris and Gus again in the Summer !! Thank you for a fabulous day.... Oh and the images were pretty ok too (joke) .........

They are fantastic, I really do love them !

Fucking perv lol and matts a bit pervy too

Had a fucking awesome shoot today with Matt! Was full of energy from the get go. I was very chuffed with him coming out his comfort zone and taking some of my ideas on board and even more happy with the out come.

Picking images will be a challenge as we got some awesome ones together but I so can't wait to see the end result!

I would hand on heart recommend this man to anyone new or old in the industry with a sense of humour!

Can't wait to do it again hugs and thanks for a freaking awesome day!

P.s coffee wasn't shabby either lol

Shot with Matt a few years back for my first few shoots. He was a complete joy to shoot with and gave direction well when needed. Matt is extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable working in his studio. I highly recommend that you book a shoot with matt as he will capture exactly what you want whilst having lots of fun!

I hope to shoot with Matt again soon :)

Where to start after a crazy weekend with Matt and Sakura Star......

Matt is indeed the filthiest perv ever, with an unhealthy love of satin and gussets and the serious ability to have a party...:) HOWEVER he is also the nicest, funniest, most down to earth person you will ever meet, who speaks his mind with total honesty and has become a good friend. He also makes the best roast potatoes and breakfasts you will ever eat, even at 2am...

I am by no means Matts ideal model, and freely admit that I struggle badly with glamour. Matt bent over backwards all weekend to accommodate for this, taking my crazy ideas and turning them into great and sometimes hilarious shots. He even indulged my bizarre idea to shoot nude on the beach in December!

From late night shoots, to far too many drinks, to trying crazy things the whole weekend has been brilliant. The only warning I have is beware of Boris and Gus.. They are far too cute to resist and the biggest distraction ever. They also share their dads love of gussets...

If you get chance to work with Matt take it! You will cry with laughter, may end up more than a little drunk, and end up with some great shots, but I guarantee you'll have fun doing it!!!!!!

And if your missing a collie, he may be in my suitcase...:)

It all started with the ‘Would you work with the person above you???’ thread…

And a few months later LadyMarmalade & I made the long trip to Devon, armed with a bottle of Matt’s favourite vodka and a huge cheeky smile.

The evening progressed from quick plans as to what to shoot (mostly my t&a of course) and the vodka flowed… Gus & Boris quickly introduced themselves, Boris welcomed me with the obligatory sniff in the guff: I’m such a lucky girl. Banter & jokes flowed, followed with Matt’s culinary delights and more vodka.

I was worried that I wouldn't be the right model for Matt’s style, but he’s totally awesome & made me feel beautiful, in fact the ‘phwoor’, ‘cor’, ‘great a***’, ‘fantastic t**s’ and other encouraging words have ruined me for other photographers. After two days of shooting, laughing, more shooting and high class banter Matt got down on one knee and proposed. I’ll be moving in shortly and commuting to London weekdays while hubbie minds the dogs and he raises our brood of many children that are to come.

In seriousness I’m so glad I joined PP & got to meet the legend that is Matt Harper. I feel honoured someone so lovely, funny, witty & just as filthy/dirty minded as me welcomed me into his home for the weekend & even went shopping for special milk & marg as I’m allergic to dairy. He has a heart of gold, and ladies.. the sock is huge ;) A friend for life.

Ah Matt! How can I sum up the experience of working with him... The dogs are gorgeous!

Seriously, Matt is great to work with - non stop banter and lots of laughing (which I blame for the number of eyes closed shots!), so much enthusiasm, so many ideas and he knows how to take a fabulous photograph!

He wont thank me for saying it (given that he hates the word!) but am going to say 'professional' in that he's knows what he's after from a shoot, is concerned for his models well being and comfort, achieves gorgeous lighting and gives great direction. (Though am not sure proposing when he saw my bum was entirely professional! And don't get him started on his nipples!)

I had a fab day shooting with Matt, he warned me he likes to offend models - he failed, he's far too funny! And although I managed to offend him (result lol) am definitely going back for a second shoot :) Would reccommend him to any model who doesn't take themselves too seriously...

Thanks Matt, you're lovely - fuss Gus and Boris for me!

Well what can I say about Matt... I worked with matt nearly 6 Years ago he was one of the first photographers that I've ever worked with.. Matt taught me a lot and gave me the confidence that I have to day! I do look up to him quite a lot ( even if he is slightly crazy )

Anyway... After all that time we did another shoot together and my god he is such an awesome photographer and a complete laugh! I cant fault him in anyway! Also the images that we got from the shoot have turned out awesome!

His dogs are so cute as well I wanted to take them home! ( even if one of them photo bombed me haha )

I highly recommend Matt Harper even if he did wear my knickers on his head :/

I've been waiting a few days to leave Mr Harper his reference for no other reason than ……. I wanted to make him sweat lol, only teasing as only Silkythighslou can :-)

I arrived the night before the shoot, with the intention to chat and be generally ready nice and early the next morning, but to no avail. Matt was incredibly easy to get along with and we chatted for hours about good old PP and various other things ably assisted by the odd bottle of wine.

The shoot it'self the next day was fantastic. It enabled us both to try styles that were not our norm, Matt having a fling with the erotic and myself trying a few 3 some images (ok, the other two models did have eight legs between them, but it was still a first ).

The day whizzed by, full of plenty of laughter and banter . Matt's hospitality was second to none and yes as good old Arnie said "I'll be back " !

The images I've seen so far have been amazing and I look forward to seeing the rest when I've managed the difficult task of choosing my favourites.

Looking forward to the next time .

I had such a great day with a very long overdue shoot with Matt Harper! He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and we looked through all the shots together on his computer before I left. Will definitely shoot with him again. Don't shoot if you've had a sense of humour bi pass lol.

I had my second shoot with Matt at the end of September and i had an awesome day with him again. Matt produces amazing images, i am thrilled to bits with them. i have made a good friend in Matt and i will continue shooting with him on a regular basis! He also makes a splendid cuppa! I have known of 'THE' Matt Harper for around 5 years? Finally it was time to meet the man and what an unlikely pairing we were....BUT....we produced great images that I am so pleased to share in my portfolio :)

The aim of the day was to spice up my portfolio a bit and also I like to think add a touch of Poppy to his portfolio.

He is a marmite guy, you will love him or hate him, with his tongue in cheek jokes and extravagant compliments if you are looking good. I felt nothing but comfortable working with Matt, always asking if I was happy, showing me the photos after each set. Communication was great and ideas were already thought of.

What a fun shoot, I am so happy with the results and looking forward to working with him again... :)

Having known of Matt's work and online personality for several years, I didn't really think he'd want to shoot with me being as I don't get my bum out for the camera (because I don't like it - I actually envy those who are happy enough to!). I think it was first suggested in a forum thread, and as we discussed it more I thought it would be a good idea and we made plans.

Communication beforehand was great, if it hadn't been I'd have probably changed my mind about the 400 mile round trip. Matt offered us a place to kip, and wasn't bothered about me taking my partner along. We were greeted by his lovely dogs when we arrived, then got through a couple of bottles of Cava between me and Matt. We attempted to make a bit of a plan for shooting the following day, but we were too busy talking about other things. Some time just before midnight we had a brief outline about what we were going to do, so I stumbled to the sofa and passed out.

While we were shooting, Matt was great at giving me direction when needed and happy to let me mess about and pull stupid faces the rest of the time. Doing something different for both of us was good, although I was a little anxious for the first set, the nerves soon disappeared. We had a very relaxed day shooting around Matt's home, garden and then went down to the beach for a bit in the evening.

We had a look at the shots on the computer before I went home and it was so hard choosing my favourites, he sent me the finished images before the end of the week (which is excellent, because even though I try to be patient it's so hard waiting!) - and he also does a great job with editing.

Matt is just like he is on the forum, un-pc, a little bit rude but funny and easy to get on with. He says what he thinks and good at compliments :o) He also makes a great cup of coffee. I had a great time, and I'm chuffed with all the shots we got so it was well worth the journey!

This was my first shoot with the legendary Matt Harper over two days and one night. Had a very warm welcome by Gus, Boris and the master himself on my arrival.

After lots of tea and blue sky thinking, Matt dragged me in the cellar of his mansion and put me in a tin bath. Luckily he bought it a few sizes to small so could only take pictures of me sitting in it not drowning. Although Boris tried constantly to volunteer as male model the boss wasn't too impressed with the idea and avoided the famous shot of the beauty and the beast (me being the beast of course).

What then happen has partly left my memory, all I remember is tonnes of cheese, grapes, biscuits, wine and vodka. Checking Matt’s camera in the morning it looked like we tried to copy the great image of Pixie balancing a wine glass on her back. For some weird reason was I wearing a red wig and the pictures would have made a brilliant thread for ‘How not to take a picture’. :)

Luckily my hangover didn't last too long and I chased Matt through the staircase and bedroom of his house to create more awesome images. After feeding me again, Matt went with me through all the pictures and we picked the once we both loved most. Could have stayed there another night and day as I had so much fun but would have needed a month of diet afterwards.

Absolute ace shoot, brilliant host, amazing photographer, bloody gorgeous bloke to work with and a true gent. Sky high recommended. Can’t wait to meet the boys and Matt again soon for the next shoot. Still not sure who’s more adorable…the boys or him. Thanks for an epic time!

Matt Harper... What a nutter!! I had my first shoot with him today and I had SO much fun! He is such a laugh and amazing to work with. I already really want to work with him again and hope I get the opportunity to! Matt was full of hilarious banter I literally laughed my way through the shoot. He made me feel so confident and relaxed... he even has 2 gorgeous dogs that I wanted to take home with me!! I don't have a bad word to say about you - Thank you for a brilliant day, I thoroughly enjoyed it :D Please invite me over again :D

Matt and I met for the first time today at his home in Paignton and I was greeted with a warm welcome by his gorgeous dogs, and a lovely cuppa tea! Matt is probably the funniest, honest, cheekiest old git that I have ever met and quite frankly, we spent the majority of the day talking!!

He respected the fact that I am a new model and gave brilliant direction. After each set we went through and checked all of the images to see which ones I liked or didnt like. We even edited a couple together and they have turned out GREAT! :D

I have literally had the most amazing day, there really just was not enough time in the day to do all of the sets we wanted to. Which is why I will DEFENITELY be coming back (probably next week!?) to finish off the shoot.

completely fun out of this world character very funny I nearly fell of my seat every time!!

I love Matt in your face style completely different style and I must for every glamour model portfolio.

Had my second shoot with Matt yesterday. Matt is so great to work with and I love his cheeky banter, hes a very funny guy and his work is brilliant. I love working with Matt and i cant wait for our next shoot. He defo loves his bums lol x

Well what can i say about Matt?? First met and did a shoot with him a year and a half ago and since then we have worked on many shoots together :) he is very driven and knows what he would like to achieve from each shoot but still manages to make the shoot fun, Matt Is always up for a laugh which makes my job alot easier!!! Gets the food and teas in to keep us going. Over all i would highly recommend as a photographer.

I worked with Matt again today, our 5th shoot altogether and it never gets boring :) He's got great idea's and executes them well, he's fun, chatty & trustworthy ;) (believe it or not! Ha!) - I will defo recommend Matt to any girls wanting some cheeky, fun, sexy and glamorous images :D

Loved working with Matt today, he was fun made me laugh, great to get on with, regular breaks for drinking and looking through photos, which were AMAZING. Looking forward to seeing the finished product and working with hi again in the near future xxx
