References for Martyn Duke Photography

Today I had my first shoot with Martyn, and what can I say, the man is a genius! Even before the shoot, his communication and conveyance of ideas were loud and clear, and he wasn’t shy to discuss different opportunities and ideas! We exchanged mood boards, images and location ideas, and came up with a pretty full plan!

On the day of the shoot, Martyn had greeted myself and my assistants with a warm smile and an enthusiastic attitude! He came ready with many props and equipment, and so we ventured into the woods to begin shooting!

Martyn was professional and fun all at the same time, with such an kind spirit, we got along like a house on fire... He even stayed calm when his arm chair caught fire... Overall I’d definitely recommend Martyn to anyone, he is such a nice guy and an amazing photographer with an eye for detail! Can’t wait to see the images and discuss potential shoots in the future!

Had my second shoot with Martin yesterday and as before we had a fab shoot together :D this time I dragged my good friend with me and I think we got some pretty good shots despite the horrible weather.

This shoot was also more creative, using neon sign and props ended up shooting at the laundromat where we went absolutely crazy!

I really enjoyed this and myself and I'm really looking forward to seeing images and working with Martin again on creative ideas.

Definitely recommended :)

Sanctum Southampton

Martyn hired Sanctum for a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon, we got to have a pre shoot chat with him which is always nice.

He produced a great set of pics that we will be using overtime for promotions and social media, so thank you to both him & the model Domii x

I had an awesome first shoot with Martyn yesterday :) Although, I wasn't feeling really well I still turned up for a shoot and I am glad that I did. We shot at the Sanctum in Southampton, where we got some really creative shots using all the available space. I would definitely recommend this amazing photographer and I am looking forward to seeing edited pictures.

Had another awesome shoot with Martyn. He agreed to help me out with a project and had such a good time and we got some amazing photos. It was a really fluid shoot, working with the surroundings and outfits. Martyn has a fantastic eye for detail and really captured some great shots.

Had another shoot with Martyn again this weekend! This time it was both myself and my boyfriend and we had a great shoot. We went down to Netley Abbey and spent a good two hours exploring the area and getting lots of shots of the both of us together and separately aswell. Martyn was extremely helpful to my boyfriend who hasn't done many shoots, and gave me the perfect amount of direction whilst letting me pose freely. I'm sure they'll be more shoots to come! Can't wait to see the pictures.

Martyn was great to shoot with today. He made me feel comfortable from the start so I was able to pose with ease during the whole shoot. He gave good direction where it was needed but mostly let me explore my poses which was great. Cant wait to see all the pictures, hope to work with you again soon!

Had a great time with Martyn on Wednesday. We had a chst befirehand about ideas and location (I picked and cold and windy day to shoot on a beach but we survived!) But the shoot its self was very relaxed and we went with the flow and got some really great photos. Martyn was really easy to get on with and we had a great chat througout. He's got a good eye for spotting interesting shots and how to use the landscape around us. Throughly enjoyed and definitely recommend

Martyn was a joy to shoot with. From start to finish, he was great to talk to, making me feel most comfortable, professional and friendly. Martyn's capturing was second to none, as visible from some of the amazing shots he was able to capture. Communication was great and everything was so easily arranged, the shoot sailed perfectly, and to my amazement, Martyn was so keen and eager to get all the photographs uploaded and edited in next to no time!

All in all, a great guy and a pleasure to work with.

10/10 would recommend!
