I had a lovely shoot with Martin on Monday :)
He has a great style that I really enjoyed working on with him, I think we got some fab shots!
He is also really laid back so the shoot atmosphere was really relaxed and fun :)
It was a pleasure meeting him and I throughly enjoyed working with him too!

I would like to say how great this shoot was. I met Martin for the first time and felt completely at ease immediately. The shoot went smoothly and Martin came up with some really unique and imaginitive ideas.
I would definitely love to work with Martin again in the future and I would recommend anyone who gets the chance to work with him to go for it !

I met with Martin a week before our shoot to discuss shooting in general. Martin informed me about a shoot he had organised the next week and after discussion we agreed I would come and shoot in the afternoon so that Martin could do the same set with two different models. During our meeting Martin gave me handouts with the shoot ideas and we discussed what I would need to bring in detail.
I arrived at the shoot and Martin told me as we were about to begin he wanted to video the shoot, potentially for use at a later date as part of an installation. I was perturbed as we had not discussed this beforehand and I've never been filmed whilst shooting before, I was unsure what the general 'etiquette' of that is and also work-wise what that means for fees and so on.
However I felt this was not a good enough reason to not shoot and felt Martin and I had a good rapport. We did a fairly short shoot as we ended up getting quite a lot of shots Martin was happy with fairly quickly. I enjoyed doing something a little different in terms of posing and the ideas and felt we had gelled well work-wise. I would work with Martin again but I do think that the last minute videoing put a bit of a dampner on the whole experience, I think in future I will ensure I check about this sort of thing, it had never come up in any of my other shoots so I was pretty unprepared and it did put a different dynamic on the shoot.
