I had a wonderful retro dance shoot with Martin yesterday. His special area of expertise is 20s and 30s dance and also the fashion and photography of the era. As well as being so knowledgeable and interesting to chat to, he is also incredibly kind, considerate and patient. I feel so lucky that I've had the chance to work with him :)

After a coffee and chat and deciding on outfits, we started with a silk beaded flapper style dress, delicately sequined collar and dressing table set for some elegant art deco images. Next we moved onto the dance and movement images. I'd learned the basic charleston foot positions but Martin gave me a proper masterclass and we worked on perfecting the face and arms too. Every minute was heaven!

I would highly recommend Martin to any model and would jump at the chance to work with him again. Thank you for a fantastic day x

I had my first shoot with Martin today and it was very relaxing and fun Pin-up shoot.

Martin came right on time fully prepared and ready to crack on. Lots of ideas, lots of suggestions and lots of laughs. He is very easy to get along with and a true gentleman.

He kindly shared the images with me and I can`t wait to go through them.

I would highly recommend him to any model, experienced or inexperienced.

Bodypaintart

Martin and I worked together today in studio so he could get some practice with studio lighting having never done any before, and to get some insight into what sort of lights to buy himself.

It was as pleasure to meet him and show him a few minor things that he picked up right away, and certainly nowhere near the novice he had rather modestly said.

He worked really well with his model, had clearly prepared like a true professional and knew exactly the styles he wanted to shoot. Personally I always really enjoy the style he is on a path to shoot regularly, so am hoping we will work together more in future.

Really good to meet Martin today and I can recommend highly to anyone thinking of working with him.

Martin came to our humble studio space today having applied for our casting to work 1to1 with a model with our help where required. He needed minimal help and knew exactly what he wanted from his shoot. His pre-booking comms were spot on and more professional than many seasoned photographers. Turning up well prepared, full of great props and idea's and instantly had a great rapour going with his model.

It was a real pleasure to meet him, and we would not only highly recommend him but also welcome him back anytime.
