References for Martin Newton Photography

Martin invited me to his photographic holiday in Algarve and I was so excited! Martin arranged a studio day for me a couple weeks before we went so that I could meet some photographers and models going.

I loved working with Martin! He is such a genuine, down to earth and really funny guy who not only is a very talented photographer, he’s also someone I’d consider a friend too.

Whilst on the trip I got to shoot with another model which I have never done before but I knew I’d get the best shots of me and another model together with Martin.

Martin arranged a studio evening for me so that I could introduce myself to some people coming to the algarve with us this month. So glad we managed to get a shoot booked in as it was lovely to build repor before we shoot away. Everyone who was at the studio was friendly and chatty we all got along great! Martin had a bag of cookies too! Me and Martin have spoke a lot online so communication was great, Martin was very chatty and has a great sense of humour! I also managed to get a few shots with him at the end of the day. Looking forward to working with you in Spain!

I am a new model and the lovely Martin got in touch with me about organising a shoot. From day one until today he has been nothing but fantastic. He has helped me out so much, has good banter down to earth and so knowledgeable, I feel I’m very safe hands when I have done shoots with him. First one was a photography club night, which was a great night getting to meet new photographers. 2nd was a Gel lighting shoot which was amazing working along side the lovely pebbles. I have had the pleasure of having done 2 shoots so far and have more planned for the future couldn’t recommend enough !!!

I didn't realise that such a master of light was within such easy reach of my home. Martin readily divulges his "trade secrets" and is liberal in sharing some absolute gems. On top of this he has an excellent teaching manner and does not overcomplicate. This was my first of what will be many interactions with Martin and I look forward to the next. The studio facilities are very good and a pleasure to shoot in. He is excellent in all respects and I recommend him and his services in photography.

Well I was over the moon when Martin booked me for one of his locations group shoot, modelling alongside the fabulous Pebbles! The next day myself, pebbles and Martin did a quick studio shoot before I had to get off to the airport. Organising the shoot was great! Martin’s comms were very informative! And he was super helpful with trains etc. He Kindly offered me a room to stay in for a few nights as well as a pickup from the train station and a drop off at the airport! All things that really helped me out and made things so much easier for me! I was higgle grateful!

I have known Martin for a little while so I know he is a total sweetheart as well as so much fun to be around. Well that was exactly the case during the shoots we had! He was totally lovely! Very respectful and professional! Though lots of fun! His event was well very well organised and he had clearly scouted all the locations! He obviously put a lot of effort into the day and it showed, as it was a great success. The rain was a bit of a dampenerner, (literally) but Martin still had a smile on his face and was still encouraging everyone and getting us all through!

As a photographer Martin is fabulous! He has a truly wonderful eye and can see images easily! He has wonderful technical knowledge. During the studio shoot he was super quick at setting up the lighting, and the effects were jus wonderful! Very flattering and just stunning images! He really knows his stuff and knows what light will be best for different moods and different types of poses etc. His composition and angles are just fab and I’m so excited to see the shots he took! As the back of the camera shots looked amazing!!

Martin really took care of me, made a really enjoyable day for the group and took soma amazing images. Couldn’t ask for more really! I would HIGHLY recommend working with him and I am really hoping we get to do an annual location group shoot :D (cough*Hint*cough) xxx

Martin is a lovely guy, very professional and makes you feel at ease and welcome as soon as you're in his presence.

Highly recommend working with him if you get the opportunity and I hope to work with you for longer next time! Haha.

Martin messaged me about a TF I’ve nwver done any sort of modelling so I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect, he’s an amazing photographer and has amazing work he defiantly put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and I had a lot of fun I can’t thank him enough for making me realise that this is something I want to do and enjoy doing, id defiantly work with him again and recommend him to anyone! Received a message from Martin asking to shoot! and I'm so glad I did!

shoot was organised and booked within a handful of messages!

trains messed me about on the day! (sodding Sunday services) however Martin was not bothered and was completely relaxed and down to earth the whole time!

Shoot was fun, extremely easy as they knew exactly what they wanted from each frame!

Would definitely work with Martin Again and highly recommend him to any model!

Oh i have so much love for Martin!

First met up for a test shoot at his studio and he immediately put me at ease. Comms are always faultless, always makes a decent brew!! He really helped me out with direction and i felt completely comfortable to try new things with him, and the images are some of my all time favourites. His eye for detail, editing, angles, lighting, just everything is perfect. He’s since booked me for a studio night which was fantastic, on hand to help and really looked after me on such a busy night! Super professional, but also absolutely divine as a person, perfect combination. Love working with him and may long it continue!

I have since recommended him as a photographer but also as a studio, great spacious changing room, always has the heaters on, and a huge space to shoot in with all the props lighting backdrops you could want.

Can’t thank him enough and cant recommend him highly enough, not only have i had fantastic experiences with him, i like to think I’ve made a good friend too! You wont regret booking him, 300% recommended every time. X

I felt so comfortable and we really had a laugh on set - he gave me some awesome advice and was such a amazing person to be around with all his energy we definately created a cool set! Martin invited me to do a GS at his studio in Bolton Martin picked me up from my home was very welcoming and broke the ice straight away felt very comfortable. I had a great time on Martin's 2017 Portugal trip, this was the second time I've been! Martin is really friendly, he does a great job of helping everyone with travel arrangements etc and the shoot is well organised. Plenty of varied shooting at fabulous locations that Martin has scouted out in advance, and Martin is easy going and happy to give advice and make sure everyone is ok throughout the week. Highly recommended!
