I had a very enjoyable shoot with Martin, he was very laidback and made me feel very comfortable throughout the shoot.

I enjoyed our conversations during the shoot and we had lots of laughs, whilst never losing sight of professionalism and getting some excellent shots!

I would highly recommend Martin to everyone, he is an amazing photographer.

My first shoot with Martin last week! Great communication prior to shooting and I knew exactly what he was looking for so I could plan my outfits and looks to suit. Very collaborative shoot I was able to pose freely and Martin captured some great shots with creative backdrops.

Was a really fun shoot, Martin is professional, friendly and chatty and we had such a laugh!

I worked with Martin on the 9th March for the first time in 14 years after we lost touch.

It was as if no time had passed at all. We had a great shoot got loads of good pics, had a good laugh and caught up on old times. Martin is such a lovely guy an absolute gentleman and is a joy to work with.

I had another home shoot with Martin in my flat in Leeds and hopefully we will be able to work together again in the future. :)

Martin as before, was absolutely amazing to work with and be around! :)

His pre-comms were great and he arrived on time with a positive attitude (as always)! We shot for 4 hours but it felt more like 2 hours, probably due to the fact that we were chatting soooo much! :)))

We had a wonderful shoot, so relaxed, with a couple of outfit changes and different ideas all done without rushing and a lot of chatting instead. :D

Martin is such a nice and genuine person! He's really polite, respectful and kind. He's also really friendly and cheerful and that makes our shoots really enjoyable and fun!

Martin contacted me to organise a studio shoot in a lovely message that saw us go on to have our first very enjoyable shoot together - and hopefully not the last! Despite being quite local to one another; in the past we just hadn’t managed to coordinate anything (I travel out of Yorkshire a lot too) but this time it seemed we just managed to nail it. And I hope very much that Martin doesn’t think twice about contacting me in the future because I really found him a real pleasure to work with. :) I feel we had an extremely productive time shooting at Saturn studios in Normanton... As well as gelling really well which is ever so important on shoots.

Martin’s communications were absolutely brilliant: he covered everything with a fine tooth come which made me feel comfortable and positive about the shoot before we’d even met. :) He also includes detailed instructions about getting to near where the studio was since I hadn’t been before - and know I know why as if you get to exactly the right spot then you’re literally a few yards away. :D Martin’s approach is just to help the models in any way he can and set the foundations for a nice shoot. He is exactly the same in person I can now confirm: the half day we had just went too quick - that’s the only problem. :P

Martin has a good idea of what he wanted to shoot and where he wanted to begin in terms of sets and backdrops: most of which echoed exactly what we discussed via email. I felt very much at ease when we all got settled at the studio (I had my things kindly carried up for me) and over a drink and a natter; we did the initial face-value cut and introduction and pretty much starting jabbering Yorkshire-style from the word go haha! We do that up ere. :P We then began shooting on the high key background covering fashion/portraits and nudes before going over to the dark background. Bagged some super lovely classic shots so we did... Right before descending upon the rather lovely boudoir/dressing room set at the studio. And even an edgy/Halloween set! Yes, it was certainly a varied day of creativity to say the least! :D Martin has been shooting models for quite some time and he does have a good eye and ability with composition of beautiful shots. But that said: he was absolutely happy to work with a teamwork-orientated bounce and hear any suggestions I had to throw at the situation. I think, from a models perspective - that’s when you’re really getting into it when you feel confident to help come up with input that you think might work with the current style and person you’re working with. It literally was like this from start to finish and by the end of the day - there were quite a few rather nice shots that this gentleman had captured. His patience and passion for photography is really something to be admired.

As touched upon above: we struck a good rapport basically right away and possibly did just as much chit-chatting as we did shooting haha! Martin is a very easy person to get on with, he’s warm-hearted, good fun and just very pleasant by nature. I felt as though I received a lot of respect and courtesy from Martin - he’s clearly someone who values models feeling happy and upbeat on shoots as he does prioritise a harmonious like-minded and safe working atmosphere.

We obviously took precautions in relation to the pandemic as well - the studio was easily big enough to social distance so there was never any feeling of being at risk as we worked.

I subsequently have no end of recommendations to put forward for Martin... He really is a wonderful person to shoot with and I hope we get to work together again before too long! :D

Today I had a wonderful time working with Martin at Saturn studio. It was our second photoshoot and I've been really looking forward to it. We agreed on styles and outfits beforehand, squeezing some extra looks in between. Time absolutely flew by in a great, chilled atmosphere. Martin is a very sweet, positive and respectful gentleman, a great photographer to work with. From great communication before, to the very end he was a pure pleasure to work with.
