Had a wonderful group shoot in Ware lead by Mark Sims at the camera club in Ware. It was a latex light painting workshop.

Prior to shooting pre-communication was excellent and everything was straight forward from where to be and what time to what outfits to bring along. The shoot was conducted in spacious hall with some lovely lights and backdrops. There were at least 10-12 photographers there and everything ran smoothly. Mark is really good at explaining things and gave a tutorial first then everyone individually had there own turn to take photographs. Everything was managed so well and went really smoothly.

Mark made sure that I had a hot drink and a biscuit during the break and was really caring towards me. He also collected me from the train station and dropped me back after and made sure I got home alright as it was quite a late evening shoot.

More than recommended!! It was a pleasure to be the subject of the latex light painting workshop and I can’t wait to do more events with Mark in the future. I can highly recommend!

Mark contacted me for a remote shoot, on a variety styles that differ to my portfolio. Which was amazing :) We connected through team viewer and had some laughs throughout the shoot.

We shot a variety of fashion and changed lenses from the 50mm 1.4 to 85mm 1.4 throughout the shoot. We used my backdrops for the scene and natural light for the ambient. I enjoyed the shoot and everything went smoothly, communication before and after was ace. I am hoping to get around to editing some lovely suit shots we did that were full of attitude. This was a warm shoot with a fashion edge and some topless nude. I hope to have the chance to work with him soon either in real life or remotely :)

I recommend him to other models alike and other photographers, he is respectful and great to work with.

Modelography

Mark attended one of my workshops today and was a really asset to the group. Very personable and got on great with everyone. Mark was always willing to hold lights and help me carry stuff. He asked some great questions and got some great images from what I could see from the back of his camera. Mark treated out model for the day with the utmost respect and kindness. I would recommend any model work with Mark and it was a pleasure to have him along on my workshop.

I worked with Mark and his friend Chris last Saturday and our shoot was great! Pre-shoot communication was excellent, Mike suggested a theme for our shoot, he found an amazing location and he supplied a lot of props. I really enjoyed our shoot, Mark and his friend are very friendly, professional and easy to work with. It was a pleasure to shoot with them, I think we managed to take a lot of fantastic images in just 2 hours. Thank you so much for a great shoot, I hope it will be possible to work together again :)

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mark at a Camera Club shoot this weekend. Mark is a lovely, personable guy and he was great fun to work with. He had some clear ideas of what he wanted to shoot and was really thorough with both light set up and artistic set up to ensure we got the best possible shots. Mark always has clear creative ideas, which he explains very well, enabling others to share in his vision of the final image!
