I've been interested in photography for many years but, since moving to Hertfordshire a few years ago, have decided to take my photography more seriously - joining the local photographic society, entering exhibitions etc.  My general passion has always been landscape photography - simply because it gets me outdoors and into our wonderful countryside, which is food for my soul.  However, I've been broadening my 'portfolio' with some nature and sports images in the last year or so.  More recently I have started some studio work with friends at the local photographic society and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of working in studio lighting conditions, thinking about how I want a shot to 'look' and how to best present the model in the theme being worked upon.  I'm looking to explore portraiture further, be that studio work or outdoor natural light / flash work and develop even more.  Thanks for reading :-)
