Mark Brookes

Fine Art Photographer based in the Mendips, Somerset. No longer working in the commercial photography world and now building up a small studio, working with state of the art digital and quirky film cameras. My image style is often gritty and unconventional. Collaborations welcome - sometimes I'm able to pay models, other times it's a collaboration in return for prints, images or a % of art print sales, all agreed in advance. Open to ideas and concepts. Current projects include work for two new books, a new solo show in late 2023 and a new range of art cards and prints. I prefer minimal or natural lighting and minimal photoshop tweaking. Happy to work with models of all genders and all styles. My images have been used for album & book covers, fine art prints, art cards and various magazines. I also have a small art book publishing brand with current photo-books available  ....references available on request.  Travelling models - if you are working in the area in the spring / summer we have a cute little railway wagon in our garden available for occasional nights in exchange for a shoot.
