I had the great pleasure of shooting with Marie today at Darklens studio as part of her tour. A great person to get along with and a very easy going and laid back shoot ensued.

Fantastic expressions and poses mixed with many laughs.

This was one shoot that I had been looking forward too for sometime, having followed each other on social media and I was not disappointed at all....only by the fact that I had only booked 2hrs!

Our time flew and looking at the back of the camera after returning from the shoot I was extremely pleased with the images we captured.

Highly recommended by me along with all the other previous people that have shot with her!

I look forward to working with you again in the future!

Worked with Marie on a recent Studio Day at Darklens . WOW what can i say she's such a lovely model to work with and we had a great laugh :) She poses with ease and can easily rattle through poses after pose without any direction. I would deffo recommend her to both amateur and pro photographers alike as she goes above and beyond to get the shot you are after.

Marie has been on my ‘want to work with’ radar for a while so when the opportunity of a very last minute session presented itself yesterday I grabbed it.

Marie was very friendly from the start and I found her very easy to work with, posing effortlessly and taking direction well as needed. She is a very professional model who works with the photographer to get the image, she was happy to go with my “out of the box” thinking and we got some great images in a short space of time.

Even at the end of her tour she was very enthusiastic, well prepared and her personality shone through. With a very distinctive look she has a lot to offer any photographer new or experienced alike and has the ability to deliver on a number of styles.

Marie is highly recommended by me and I hope to get the opportunity to work with her again soon. :-)

Take in the Alps

Superlatives are not going to be enough .... The story so far: I'd taken the last two slots on Marie Jean's Pozers date during her Autumn tour. I was supposed to be working but my plans changed at the last minute. Thank you my luck stars! I like to tell stories in my images so on the way I made some up. Though they were a bit half-baked Marie turned them into fully fledged scenarios. I'd brought some clothes and props which Marie immediately took to with a passion. It's great sharing a love of clothes and costumes with a model who really appreciates what I'm attempting to convey with them. I'd always wanted to work with Marie, not only because of her beauty, but because of her outrageous ability to powerfully dramatise clothes. Seeing her work with my garments went beyond my hopes and dreams. For the first set I told her about an infamous jewel thief. Her reaction to my crazy notion was met with relish and delivered with panache. She'd really become that jewel thief even in the environment of the studio. Those wealthy party goers were really getting robbed. I didn't need to direct. In the blink of an eye, in the click of a shutter, Marie had invented a whole new persona. A thriller! She took such pleasure in exploring the very depths of her character that I simply followed her every move, gesture and expression with a sense of enchanted fascination. Every prop I handed her came alive in her hands. Glass and metal looked like diamonds and silver when she wove them into her performance. With this level of acting ability my next set was going to be easy for her. The idea, based on the Marquise de Merteuil's character in La Liaisions Dangereuses was about a woman's disintegration - a kind of emotional breakdown. So a pretty demanding role even for an experienced actor! Marie strolled it, bringing out the storyline perfectly even though she'd only just heard the bare bones of it from me. What an incredible shoot. It's given me the confidence to explore other similar ideas. It's so great when a model chosen for a particular skill goes beyond my wildest dreams in delivering an amazing array of poses that she's just made up on the spot. The resultant images have that wonderful sense of spontaneity that sometimes seems so difficult to attain. Unless of course you have Marie to help you do that. And all the while she was happy to roll with anything I threw at her we managed to strike up a rapport and enjoy the fun of creating these characters. Thank you Marie for being extra special. Thank you for bringing so much to the table at the end of a very long and hard working day for you. And all in the middle of a very demanding and exhausting tour. I'm looking forward to working with you again. It's so great to know that my more outlandish ideas will come to life when harnessed to a talent such as yours. I'll never forget the delight you took in making my images live.

What a sensational model in both looks and ability, I am truly blessed to have had the time work with Marie.

I had the opportunity to work with Marie thanks to a model day organised by Darren Key at Darklens Studios, it was a fantastic session and we both had a great time.

Marie needs no direction at all and is open to trying ideas giving plenty of feedback when being shown back of camera images.

I would highly recommend any photographer booking Gabriella for a shoot and I hope I will have the chance to work with her again sometime.

This is my second shoot with the wonderful Marie. Pre-comms were excellent and Marie had brought a range of outfits to work with the shoot.

I had also made some very unusual wooden shoes that I wanted to try for the first time. Marie was up for the challenge and it all went to plan!

She is so good - professional, funny, skilled and enthusiastic.

I can definitely see another shoot being planned.

I felt lucky to have booked Marie for a workshop at my studio recently, as she was a fair way from home! She’s one of Purpleport’s absolute favourites, and with good reason. Well, how lovely to meet up with Marie again with my buddy Annette for 4 hours of fashion and portraiture on location. Always fun and always relaxed 'cos Marie is fabulous to shoot with. I wanted to experiment a bit with some crazy fashion angles and, as always, shot some fab images with this lovely lady and top #posingmachine . Marie Jean is such a great model to work with, super positive and very professional. She was communicating constantly with me to make sure that everything was correct previous the session.

Marie then came an hour early to make sure she was on time even though she came from a long way away, then she was very helpful when setting up the pose for the session which everyone loved.

I could not recommend Marie enough, she is the kind of model you would always want to work with and I cannot wait to work with her again.

This was my first shoot with Marie and though it has taken us a while to get together it was well worth the wait!

We had great pre shoot communication and Marie came well prepared. She is so lovely to work with,fun and easy going but very professional and hard working,

her posing is fluid and expressive,she has a beautiful face and figure and lovely skin.

We shot a variety of sets including fairytale,fashion and boudoir and I am delighted with the diverse and varied images we produced together.

I absolutely loved working with Marie,she is a wonderful model and lovely person,totally committed and enthusiastic in helping to create the images I had in mind,but chatty and bubbley and fun to be with.

I highly recommend working with Marie,and hope to do so again in the future.
