He is an extremely nice guy and made me feel really comfortable at the group shoot along with 8 other photographers .. we had a great shoot a good laugh and he certainly put alot of effort into not only getting some great image's, but making sure everyone was happy, highy recommended.

From the moment Nigel said my name I felt at ease. It was my first time working with him, so I'd been feeling a bit nervous. He picked me up from the bus station to help get me to the shoot location. He's chatty, respectful, aware. He made sure we had a break during shoot because it was pretty hot! Overall I felt like I had a lovely day and was looked after very well :) I would recommend him - thank you!

I had yet another great shoot with Nigel at Wollaton Park (this time, no one chased us away!). This was a group shoot organised by Nigel with 3-4 other photographers. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful - they were all happy to offer their help in holding my bags for me, helping me up and down from tall platforms, etc. I saw some great images on the back of the cameras! Nigel is, as usual, professional and respectful. He regularly checked if I was alright as the weather was getting chilly at this time of the year.

I had fun at the group shoot and hope everyone got the images they wanted. Highly recommended, of course! :)

This was my third time meeting Nigel - this time we had a brilliant one-on-one fashion shoot. Nigel is friendly, easygoing and professional. We shot on location at Wollaton Park and got lots of great shots in natural light. Unfortunately, someone working at Wollaton Hall shoo'd us away unless we paid a hefty amount for a permit to shoot there. Luckily we were able to find another location that was a 20-25 minute drive away. Nigel was very patient and never once complained - we were able to finish the shoot smoothly and overall it was a nice, relaxing shoot.

I would gladly work with Nigel again. Highly recommended and thank you Nigel for coming all the way up to Nottingham! :)

I was one of Nigel's model's today for an event. I am so greatful as I had a lovely day. He kept in good contact, made sure we were all ok the whole day and is so friendly and hard working. Met Nigel at a Charity Event he had organised at Thorpe Hall. Communication was perfect before the event, so knew what to expect and the event went really well. Nigel made sure the models were having regular breaks. It was a hot day, and the bottles of water went down a treat! What a great event, Thank you Nigel, hope to be invited back to anymore in the future.

Inquiring about a Day of Photography event in aid of raising money for Sue rider and was introduced to Nigel.

And i am so glad i did.

Nigel and his team organized a amazing event where models and photographers from all around came to join in.

Taking images, having images taken of them, expeditions and entertainment throw out the day. Was truely fabulous and a pleasure to be apart of.

All of the models and photographers managed to get a huge selection of images to use.

I even got chance to grab a few shots with Nige in between all of the madness.

I was one of the models for Nigel's group photography day at Thorpe Hall. He kindly arranged for his wife and daughter (both of whom are lovely!) to give me a ride to the hall and back to the train station. Nigel did a terrific job organising the whole event with so many photographers and visitors! He was very accommodating and also made sure that the models weren't pressured to do anything beyond their levels. Overall, the event was great fun and I met many great photographers!

I highly recommend Nigel and would gladly work with him again! :)

I was one of the models for Nigel's group charity photography day at Thorpe Hall. Pre shoot comms were really great and was fantastically organised before and during the event. He was friendly, polite and was really lovely. He made sure that the models weren't pressured to do anything beyond their levels and that we were looked after throughout the day. We were given plenty of water to drink and he was kind enough to sort out food especially for myself who needed my own sorting due to allergies. I highly recommend Nigel and hope to work with him again. Thanks Nigel!

Had a location shoot today with Nigel for the first time, he is easy going and a real Gentleman.

We only shot for a couple of hours but the images look really good. I would work with him again and would also recommend to other models too

Pure Awesomeness! :D

Goodness I have lost count now... I have shot with Nigel so many times since our first meeting at a Peterborough Studio event! This time around we shot for a second time at the Joel Hicks Photographic location after having a previous session solely inside we ventured outdoors this time and the standard procedure: nailed some STUPENDOUS images! :)

Working with Nigel is a blast.... working with Nigel is a blast... working with Nigel is a blast... Did I mention that working with Nigel is a blast? I always look forward to the next time we meet and what wonderful ideas he brings along... We chat about all sorts and even when he's having a difficult time he will always bring so much positivity to the shoot. I have so many high regards for Nigel and his wife Jane who comes along on shoots when she can. I will never cease to recommend Nigel: his photography journey has been so inspirational to see and his nature is so kind and down to earth.

I had a location shoot with Nigel a few weeks ago and it went amazingly!!

He is down to earth and a true gentleman. Pre communications where brilliant and we went with the flow on the shoot. He made sure I was ok and felt comfortable the whole way through the shoot and let me have decisions on what to shoot also.

I think we got some great images and can't wait to see them :)

Yet another truly fabulous photoshoot with the awesome Nigel and his lovely wife Jane who is the best at assisting on shoots and being the heart of chatter/laughs! We have literally covered such a broad variety of exceptional locations and studio work now, this time the theme was dereliction and waterfalls - the results are completely stupendous!

It just goes to show that even if you get to the old derelict mill and the council have sealed it up again, and the waterfall isn't quite Niagara falls due to the dry weather: if you have an epic creative team who literally have the best rapport and bounce off each other in action then you can produce amazing results! :) Nigel, as a photographer, has such a fantastic eye for location work... and it's funny because we met in a studio but the great outdoors always tempts us that way because we just go for it. I always have full confidence that I can be climbing/getting soaked/hanging from something and Nigel will be doing his absolute best to shape the composition into a photograph that yells WOW; I don't half worry him and Jane when I'm off doing my rock climbing thing but I just cant help it because I know that Nigel will nail the shots. Plus when you are accompanied by the most caring team in the world who look after the models no-end it makes it so much easier to stretch that bit further.

Nigel is just a star, aside from the fact that I'm really good friends with him and Jane now (we've shot that much!) He is a really courteous gent who literally has the best etiquette out there which should be a standard example. Thinking of ideas beforehand will always be done to suit the model he is shooting, on the day he will just give so much professionalism in the way that he works and appreciates every aspect of a models job, if he gets what he needs from a shoot he know it right away. Just awesome everything! Nigel should do classes for being awesome! :D He is wise and knows his stuff too, dealing ever so tactfully with a spectator that approached us, models will definitely feel secure shooting out in the open with Nigel.

I am already extremely excited for our next shoot this Autumn when we return to Joel Hicks Photographic to get on the grounds this time. We stayed in the studio last time getting some stunning work still but we just rock it so much on location, I know it will be a blast.

I had a lovely shoot with Nigel last month in Peterborough. pre comms were excellent and came prepared with different accessories for me to wear during the shoot, which was really fun.

Nigel is very easy to work with and we had a relaxing but productive session.

Brilliant shoot with Nigel the other day over at Peterborough.

Great communications and came across very straight forward and polite.

The shoot was fun, friendly and rather chilled out and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite feeling a little poopy.

Nigel was very patient waiting for me to battle with my unruly hair in the changing room and we got some superb results with some assistance from Andy.

Absolutely great guys to work with, I'd highly recommend them to other models and certainly consider working with them again :)

I recently had my third shoot with Nigel and this time we did the studio story again, where we had very first met in fact! :D As always, Nigel was a true gent, picking me up from the station and then returning me until I was safe on the train... He was brewing up the teas in no time at all in-between sets doing all manner of things to make me as content as possible - 3 shoots in and he's still the most caring person ever when we shoot. I would normally expect "make your own pondwater you mare" by now. Nigel is a real gem. :)

He brought some really lovely items to this shoot and I barely opened by enormous case bursting with stuff because it would have been a crime not to use the gorgeous trinkets he had assembled. A photographer with an eye for styling... you're bound to see some stunning images produced! And they were, we reviewed each look to see how we were doing; bounced ideas around and generally had a really lovely time shooting.

I have no end for credit to Nigel. He is a star! Highly Recommended!

Had a great shoot with Nigel and the guys from PICO Peterborough. Thorp Hall was a perfect and beautiful location. Everyone arrived on time and were very warm and welcoming. All the guys in the group were friendly and we all had a great laugh while doing the shoot. By the end we got some great pictures and I can't wait to see the final results. Hope to have the opportunity to work with them again and I can highly recommend them to anyone.
