I am a photographer of Maltese and British origin working from my own professionally equipped 3000 SF studio that has been specifically built around my style of work and featuring a 5 metre wide cyclorama wall with an overhead rain system, water base and a complex system of smoke, fog and haze machines, this combined with 10 flash heads and a professional video lighting system results in a unique cinematography setup allowing me to create authentic cinematic artworks in camera.  

My goal is to create art, enjoying the luxury of shooting my own style and concepts creates the opportunity for new visions to come to life without boundaries and without expectations of what it might or should be.  With 18 years of experience refining my artwork in a dedicated studio I have developed an authentic body of work that purely focuses on the creation of fine art pieces for personal and commercial gallery display.

Having worked with over 300 models from the UK and Europe I have garnered a wealth of experience in working with models, styling and directing.   My studio has over 40K of professional Godox, Elinchrom and Canon equipment including a 2 metre Octa light bank used on high end fashion shoots. I shoot with a professional Canon R5 camera.  If you are committing your time to working with me collaboratively(TFP) then you can be assured that I am using professional grade equipment.

I am available for TFP/Collaborative shoots and paid commission work, high end only, I am not interested in shooting catalogue, product or anything that might be boring or repetitive! I am only interested in creating amazing images working collaboratively with like minded models, stylists and MUA's or high end commissions.

If you are an agency looking to test models I am happy to provide my time, studio and retouching, models must be of a high standard and something I am interested in working with.

I am currently hiring models for ongoing shoots for a series of shoots for 2024. I am looking for specific looks to achieve my goals. 

Shoots to primarily take place at my own dedicated 3000 sf commercial studio space which features two separates studios including a permanent water studio installation with a 280sf water base and rain system built into a cyclorama wall, as well as a standard Colorama studio.  Full video lighting and flash lighting setups and a full clothing, accessories, jewellery and props department! 

The goal of the shoots will be to create stunning works of art, working collaboratively bringing each of our ideas together, the energy we create will be key to the success of the final outcome, I am relaxed, confident and straightforward photographer and am in a very fortunate position allowing me to be able to shoot the kind of work I want, I am not trying to target a particular commercial style, my end goal is the creation of works of art but i am open to creative proposals based on your own ideas.

Shoots are full day 10am - 6pm with lunch and coffee breaks. 

A model release will need to be signed in advance of the shoot, a digital agreement will be sent via email and can easily signed online.  For paid shoots signed agreement must be received prior to receipt of any payment. 

or TFP/Collab shoots i provide 3 works of art, if your looking for dozens of images from a photographer I'm not the right person for you to collab with and there are plenty of togs I’m sure that will give you loads of images or maybe a whole CD’s worth! Old school!.  I put a lot of work and money into the pre and post production of every image.  I also create behind the scenes videos which I share and sometimes moving artwork videos so overall there will be several pieces of content shared.  Depending on the success of the shoot and the variety of the images I do sometimes prepare more than 3 images. 

For any images shared I will invite as collaborator on Instagram in the first instance, images must be kept in the original form, not edited in any way including cropping and the Mantino watermark must be kept in place. If i send you images directly for you to post to social media, your website, etc, please do not put music with the image! the style of music you choose may not be how i intended the artwork to feel, this would be considered modifying the artwork. 

Please ensure you have checked my studio location and looked into the feasibility of travel before applying.  Studio is in Maidstone, Kent and nearest trains stations are Maidstone East and West from where I can collect you on arrival, 5 minute drive from studio or Maidstone Barracks which is 1 minute walk but can also collect you outside.
