I'm a retired accountant and mostly love vintage style artistic nude themes and classical artistic poses. A personal preference is to use dark backgrounds so as to not cause the eye to be the tiniest bit distracted away from the model and model lines. I also prefer to work in natural light. My equipment is basic: A Canon body + lens and no flash. I am satisfied to work with this and create.

As I do this as a hobby and am not in this for financial reward, I don't mind paying models who are willing to pose in order to bring new and classic ideas to the table.

I prefer models to be as comfortable as possible during a shoot and am prepared to discuss/share poses in advance to effect ease of comfort and preparedness. Any advice, ideas and encouragement from models is extremely welcome, valued and appreciated.

I also prefer to shoot at home. The lighting is familiar and my family is very supportive. This isn't cast in stone though - I don't mind travelling close by - chasing the natural light, wherever it may be found.
