References for LRM Photography

I met Lee a few years ago when I shot at his house with another photographer & after putting up a casting he applied & we shot at the weekend.

Have to say his pre comm's were the best ive had before a shoot, it made packing sooo easy!

Lee made me feel so welcome & relaxed when I arrived at his, showing me around & having a little chat before shooting so we could get to know each other & discuss what we were aiming for.

We worked through quite a few sets & the time flew. Both of us got to try new things & with Lee's creativity the pics have come out amazing! Im really looking forward to seeing the final edits.

Lee is such a lovely, humble guy who is fun to work with, easy to get on with, super relaxed & provides the best lunch!!

I hope I get to work with him again in the future :)

Sooo.....my 4th shoot with Lee!

HE IS BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH AND PRODUCE IMAGES WITH!!!

ANY MODEL IS LUCKY TO WORK WITH HIM!!!!!

I was so happy that Lee was interested in shooting me at one of my favourite studios - The Hacienda!! I just knew we would get awesome images together, but I was overwhelmed just how awesome they actually are!!! I think we created some of our best images to date, and without being big headed I think that is saying something!!

I was full of a head cold and Lee was SO considerate!! Even refusing to do a hair flick shot as he didn't want me flinging my head about with a cold! now THAT is thinking about the model- there are very few photographers that I have worked with that have been that thoughtful!

What I also love about Lee is he doesn't force shots! we went to do a set in the bedroom and it just wasn't working. The images were perfectly lovely but as Lee said 'we can do better than this' and we moved on! now that, I love!! However on the other hand, Lee does not give up when he knows a shot is going to work! We played around with light and positioning in the bathroom until Lee cracked it! I am so glad we got it as the shots are just wow !!!

Lee always works on a collaborative basis with the model! He listens to opinions and suggestions and is more than happy to try something completely out there to see if it works!

Not to mention working with Lee is so fun and relaxed!! He always makes me laugh!! we have plenty of breaks and Lee always makes sure I'm happy!!

A dream photographer and a great friend! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Lee was really kind, respectful and thoughtful providing snacks and beverages throughout the shoot of my specific dietary requirements. Lee had a 1-to-1 tuition with me at Thurston Lodge. It become very obvious that he is passionate about making the best images he could during our comms prior to the shoot. Lee is courteous, respectful, intelligent and one of the most laid back person I have ever met. His shooting style is very relaxed and chilled and goes out of his way to make sure that the model is comfortable through out the shoot.

The main theme of the day was natural light techniques. Lee produced some outstanding images despite the day was more about learning and not focused on producing good images. I look forward to working with Lee again soon. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and he is highly recommended.

Lee messaged me on PurplePort in reply to a casting that I put out to help promote a jewerlly brand. His pre comms were great. Lee invited me and the MUA into his warm and inviting home which is amazing! It has been turned into a studio and I was honestly so impressed with the whole set up! Lee was kind, helpful, relaxed but focused on what we wanted to achieve from the shoot. Lee provided food and drink for me and the MUA which was so thoughtful even down to drinking straws so the models wouldn't ruin their lipsticks! It was evident that Lee had put a lot of effort into eveything which was great. Lee was very professional throughout the shoot and you could tell he knew his stuff! He had everything set up and had done his research prior to the shoot and had already chosen backdrops etc! Overall I would highly recommend this lovely guy who made me feel comfortable and relaxed and we got some amazing shots. Can't wait to shoot with you again. Thankyou Lee

Bad Dolly

Over the last few weeks I've had the pleasure of spending 2 weekends at Lee's or as I call it, Maison Manston. If I was to put all the great things about working with Lee in one reference I would look like a crazy stalker lady, so I will just include a few (see previous references for more superlatives)

Lee has the ability to bring out the best in models, his laid back and efficient style of shooting means he doesn't over shoot, when you have the shot you're both after he moves on to the next set instead of shooting more for no reason.

Lee is a perfectionist, when I work with him I know we will work together and both improve as a result, he has a fantastic eye for light and I've never known anyone work with natural light as effortlessly as he does.

He takes the models style into consideration and instead of just shooting the style you do best, he will work with you to create something more unusual for your portfolio and in my opinion he has helped me develop as a model so much.

Lee's retouching skills are better every time I see him, and they were great to begin with! Nothing is overlooked and I have 100% faith in him, I don't even ask him what sort of edit he will do as I already know it will be a flawless image. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful Lee is to work with, I leave his house buzzing with excitement checking my dropbox and already half planning the next shoot!

Highly highly highly recommended and if you would like to hear me ramble on more about what a fantastic photographer, retoucher and host Lee is, message me and I will gush!

Natural Light Spaces

Lee was back in the studio day for his third full day visit. ME brought along with him Mark Rowe and Bad Dolly and Zara Watson.

Lee is always great fun to have in the studio, he is so creative and as well as his own ideas he is always open to trying new things in the studio.

Always great to have around and welcome back at any time.

Today was Shoot number 3 with Lee!!! This time it was a tuition shoot with me Jon Downs!

Lee is by far one of my favourite people to work with !!!

I got the wrong train on my way to the shoot and Lee was so understanding and lovely about it!!

When I arrived Lee had put out a wonderful lunch for us knowing we'd be hungry after travelling! Which was super kind of him.

He also got some pizza delivers so we'd have a hot meal before going home. SO thoughtful!

There was no rush to shoot! We chatted for a bit and caught up with each other before getting down to business.

Lee is so relaxed on shoots! Though he was clearly hoping to learn as much as he could from Jon so was listening intently to everything!!! Working with Lee is not like work at all because the shoots are so chilled! But we always get ANAZING shots! And today was no different! Even though Lee's main aim wasn't getting shots for his portfolio we still got some crackers!!!

Lee is a very talented photographer - though I always admire his determination and need to be constantly improving! It is an amazing quality to have one I very much respect!!

Love love love working with Lee! And super excited to already have our next shoot planned! Highly recommended by me :)

I shoot with LRM Photograohy today and we create some pretty epic images even after I'd travelled 5 hours on a train to get there but he was great very acommodation and relaxing and instantly felt at home and at ease

He's honestly one of the nicest photographers I've ever worked with. He's great at what he does and he's lovely too

He's very thoughtful and by the evidence in his port is always advancing

If you get a chance to shoot with him I would jump on it

Can't wait to work with him again we've already got some amazing ideas flowing

After much planning I finally got to shoot with Lee at a beautiful location shoot Guys Cliffe.

Pre-comms were perfect! I knew what he wanted, when and where with the added bonus of me having the pleasure of working with my idol Helen Wykes (made me very happy!)

Lee produces some amazing pictures and just looking at the back of camera you know that you are going to be involved in some creative magic.

He's not afraid to experiment or be creative and that just made the shoot so much fun.

Fully recommend Lee and hope to work with him on future projects.

Lee took me for a studio lighting tuition day with Lena 93 as my model. Lee was fantastic, relaxed and easy to get on with. Not only patient and knowledgeable he never flinched at stupid questions or my lack of technical knowledge. I had a productive and informative day and would love to work further with Lee and hope to have further Lightroom lessons with him at some point. I great tutor and mentor and a brilliant host as well..he even gave me a little souvenir of the day!

Highly recommended to anyone who want to try a creative approach to portraits/fashion work.

Had a fantastic shoot with Lee at Thurston Lodge.

He kindly let me stay at his house, offering to make me dinner each night! As always he is super friendly, funny and chatty and friendly throughout making the time fly.

We shot an abundance of styles at Thurston Lodge, starting with some quirky and abstract nudes and moving on to lingerie and fashion.

I will always emphasise how relaxed Lee is, the day always flies by through lots of chats and creativity.

The quality of his work is always outstandingly beautiful, I get so excited looking at the back of camera shots!

highly recommended by me and can't wait to work with him again!

Well the dynamic duo got back to shooting together last Friday, after a break of learning new techniques, editing skills, house revamp, and new pieces of kit, we got back in the saddle for an incredibly new shoot team!

As it's always been, great pre comms with clothing suggestions, and sets, we arranged train times, Lee is always consistent with a models comfort and he made sure I was going to get home at a good time, as well as getting vegetarian food and snacks in for me.

I arrived on Thursday evening, to a very warm welcome, we caught each other up from our last shoot last year (lots of catching up to do!), Lee had total changed the studio and the boudoir room, as well as getting wireless lights, lenses, totally awesome new portrait reflector, and a few other toys and props :)

On Friday morning, Lee set the studio up and ready for our first set under five minutes! In under four hours we got about eight different looks from floral portraits with the lensbaby velvet, high key portraits, grunge fashion, we broke out the vogue lighting, lingerie, cool wet look lingerie, and we finished off the day with a couple of emotive looks with me stroking the new wall paper in the studio :P

Whilst on my train back home, Lee had already sent me two highly edited beautiful shots over to my Dropbox!

Such a fantastic shoot to start off a chain of more shoots in the pipeline of working at some awesome locations in the next few months! I'm very impressed with how much Lee has progressed in such a short time, I thought last year Lee was in his peak and yet he's hit another level, he's even faster for setting up, he knows all his equipment, lights, cameras, and lenses inside and out taking no time to get everything right in camera. His editing skills have hit another height, and each set takes no more than ten minutes before we've gotten the best shots and just move on to the next set!

I think Lee's portfolio speaks for itself on the quality of his work, and his professionalism shines through in all of his references, so of course he's still highly recommended by me and looking forward to our next shoot together :)

I had an amazing shoot today with Lee. He is everything a model could want in a photographer. His pre comms are brilliant and the shoot was arranged immediately. He sent over moodboards so I knew exactly what to expect from the shoot. His ideas are awesome and so imaginative!

Lee was extremely hospitable, supplying a fridge full of drinks and food. He allowed time for us to go over the pictures on a full screen and we discussed images we liked and images we would like to delete.

I cannot recommend Lee enough to models and would love to work with Lee again in the future :)

I worked with the lovely Lee again on a recent tour and had such a great time! Lee was super kind to book me fairly short notice as I was in the local area and hunting for work! He is one of the kindest people I have met in the photography industry- kind, helpful, very hospitable and caring.

He kindly offered for me to stay at his home whilst touring for a few days, but I didnt need it on this occasion (have stayed before and its always been a real "home-from-home", beuatiful, clean and spacious home to stay in) which was really appreciated.

We experimented with a range of lighting set ups which Lee wanted to try- and brand new lighting he had recently purchased in his fantastic home studio. Lee is extremely knowlageable of photography and lighting and one of the most passionate people I have met on the subject- equally very interested in the technical side but also a fantastically creative person.

I always love working together- he is a complete diamond and a real credit to anyones portfolio if you get the chance to work together.

Sister Of Sinister

Another awesome shoot with Lee again last weekend and I had such a blast, we have shot a few times on different creative projects with me working as both a model and an MUA. This time my task was to produce bold and sinister makeup looks on myself and bring them to life in front of the camera and oh boy did we :)

This shoot was absolutely incredible and I am grateful that Lee gave me the creative freedom to create something wild, fun, unique and over the top, the results i am super chuffed with and couldn't be happier and of course I am super happy that Lee trusts me to come up with something totally different and allows me to think outside the box it literally is the best feeling in the world.

It felt amazing to create something bold but still with that sinister edge, which is what we were going for and I think we achieved this by creating these 3 wicked looks, which really stood out.

Lee is very inspiring and continues to inspire me, a true gentleman, great to be around, lays out yummy food and drink as always and is always very welcoming and i really do feel very at home when working with Lee and we have already booked the next one and we have something very special planned and I cant wait :)

I shot with Lee in his home studio for the first time. Lee creates what can only be described as one of the most relaxing environments you'll ever work in - with snacks and refreshments permanently on tap! We shot 8 different sets all in about 6 very chilled hours - and the results are just beautiful. And he's already finished most of the edits! So glad I got to work with Lee and would thoroughly recommend to anyone
