I was due to have a shoot with Chris, but after arriving I unfortunately became ill and we had to cancel. However I am leaving him a reference as he was extremely kind and understanding, he offered me accommodation and meals at his home and was generally very supportive of my situation!

I really hope to shoot with him in future, and I can 100% recommend him to other models :)

I had a lovely time time working with Chris yesterday.

He'd previously met up with me beforehand to welcome me to Scotland and workshop ideas for future shoots. His pre-comms were excellent and the shoot itself was a delight!

The shoot was a little slow to begin with due to lighting issues but towards the end we'd gotten a great range of images from classical portraits and nude to some quite edgy and surreal stuff. Chris was a very diligent director and made sure he directed each shot down to the finest details whilst giving me a lot of artistic freedom to try stuff out.

I had also been feeling a bit under the weather and Chris made sure that I was as comfortable as possible by providing me with food, tea and painkillers. He was an absolute gentleman and I hope to keep working with him in future. Also, he makes a mean dhal! :)

Chris booked me while I was touring Scotland .. and I’m so glad That he did! Chris is such a sweetheart! Very respectuful ,polite gentelmen!

He had loads of strong ideas and a great theme to work on but also let me have some input into the more crazy ideas towards the end. He was patient, didn't judge me and was encouraging and positive throughout the whole day.

Would Love to work with Chris again!

I worked with Chris on my MAMMOTH Scottish Tour recently and had an absolute blast!! It was our first time working together so I am always a little nervous- especially working from a photographers home I haven't been to before and so far from home- but from first meeting Chris I knew I was in safe hands!

He is such a lovely family man, down to earth, kind, respectful and was very professional but equally super FUN to work with :) I loved his company and had such an enjoyed few hours, I really could have worked with Chris all day!

He had fantastic ideas and like myself really loves shooting in natural light- of which we made the very best of on the day! We were blessed with lovely natural light on the day and it really made the shots! We worked together in various rooms of Chris' beautiful home. I also loved Chris' lighting set ups later on in the evening and experimenting with different angles. Chris gave great direction and was a total pleasure to work with.

One of the highlights was meeting Chris' cat, who had a very entertaining habit of popping into the shots! I went away with a big smile - and you know that is a sign of a great shoot!

If you get the chance to work with Chris take it! He is a truly lovely, kind person, who I really hope to work with again on a future tour! Highly recommended to all models and creatives! Helen x

First shoot today with Lensbased at his studio in Edinburgh. His pre communication was excellent and I knew exactly what he wanted to shoot and the style of the shoot.

He was really easy to work with and took on board any suggestion I had. We tried a lot of different styles from art nude to something a little more creative with vintage props and clothing. It was a very fun shoot and I would recommend him to any creative. Hopefully we will shoot together soon :) highly recommended
