References for David Long

David is such a creative talent. I have wanted to work with him for a long time so when the chance arose I took it.. On a beach group shoot- which might I add this man organised; photographers, MUA's, models, location and wardrobe down to the finest detail! - a talent in itself!

Although our shoot was brief (around 15 minutes) I feel we created some amazing work- the theme was shipwrecked and with David's direction I think we managed to achieve some truly stunning work!

I really do hope I get to work together with David again soon.. :)

I had the pleasure of working with David on a group shoot with Portrait X and he is a really nice family orientated guy. His experience shows through his good lighting techniques and how quick he is. He's very professional and a great guy to work with. looking forward to seeing the final images.

Well what can I say about David? He is very professional, comes to a shoot loaded with ice cream and gallons of water on a hot day ( of course he brings his camera equipment too).

He has great ideas to add to a shoot and he is more than happy to try out the model's ideas too.

I believe we gained some excellent pictures for the group shoot that we did. His has a wealth of experience and he is very easy to work with.

Id most certainly say to anyone to work with David, you won't regret it.

I worked with David this time one on one at the weekend and we had great communication throughout the shoot, he was filled with positive energy and gave excellent direction and advice :)

On top of this, David is a genuinely nice guy and a great photographer and i think we got some fab images. Can't wait to share the results.

Definitely look forward to working with him again in the near future- HIGHLY recommend.

I had a fantastic shoot with david whilst I was on my tour in london. I am so happy we finally got to work together. David's pre communication were excellent, from the moment we had booked the shoot in, I was updated every step of the way with ideas/locations etc. If there were any changes that had to be made david let me know, with all this in place I was excited when the day of our shoot came around.

Full of enthusiasm and ideas ready to shoot, he was friendly and the shoot was extremely relaxed and I felt like I had known him for years. His assistant jo was lovely, her presence on the day was greatly appreciated as especially shooting on location an extra pair of hands is always appreciated.

I had a wonderful time shooting with david and jo, and I know the images are going to be fantastic, not only to the thought and concepts that go into them before hand but his work speaks for itself as you see in his portfolio! I would work with david again in a heartbear and recommend him above and beyond! Thanks david for a wonderful day....and thank you for the magnum hehe, I hope it wont be the last time we work together! X

I had a great shoot with David yesterday! We had really good communication prior to the shoot. He's got amazing taste and spookily we both packed almost the exact same wardrobe!!! Really good direction and feedback whilst shooting and we got on really well. I'd definitely recommend shooting with David.

Fantastic shoot with David on my London tour this week, he had a mood board to help me understand the styles and concepts he wanted to capture and was great fun to work with.

I think we got some fab images together and can't wait to see the results.

On top of this he is just a good laugh and it was a pleasure meeting him :)

Had an absolutely fantastic shoot with David yesterday.... It was a full on all day shoot with 2 models and plenty of stunning dresses in a great location. David is great to work with as he has positive energy and knows how to get the best out of his models, as well as the rest of the team. I'm really looking forward to seeing the results from this shoot :-)

Bad Dolly

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity to shoot with David we finally got our act together and shot yesterday, and boy was it worth the wait! David is so full of energy and passion you can't help but to perform well, his positivity rubbed on off everyone around him and we got fantastic results. He gives perfect direction and references and does everything he can to bring out the best in you as a model. It was by far one of my favourite shoots this year and I can't wait for many more! If you haven't worked with him yet then you are seriously missing out, thanks so much David :) x

Completely forgot I didn't write a reference for shoot number two. Again, another shoot 'outside the box'. Well planned, well thought out, full of ideas and the end results were incredible.

Would shoot with David again today, tomorrow, next week and until he gets bored of me.

Well where do I start. I finally got to work with David on a shoot I had been planning for ages, and he was just as keen to do it as I was. Right from the word Go he was organising everything from what outfits we were going to use, what other people would be involved and what ideas we would do on the shoot. Pre communication before the shoot was top marks, he never missed anything out. His such a talented person with a creative mind. I had so much fun on the shoot and it makes me realize why I started modelling in the first place as I get to work with such talented people. David is easy going and a real pleasure to work with. Another shoot is being planned and I think we can say alot more to come :-)

I worked with David for a photo shoot for a Designers look book in Brighton. I had a great time, and was made to feel very comfortable and at ease, particularly as this was one of my first shoots! The whole day was very organised with a call sheet for each model. David is a very friendly approachable person with great ideas and really good to work with! Highly recommend!

David is such a lovely person as well as a fab photographer which is really important when organising a studio shoot with 4 models. The fact that David is a very approachable person with a laid back manner means that all the models felt relaxed immediately, resulting in fabulous photos and us being able to get through a full days shoot in no time.

David has a great eye for detail and fab directional skills.

I would be very happy if I worked with David for every shoot from now until forever :-)

Super talented and friendly photographer who gives you a lot of creative freedom and trust. I worked with David on 3 occasions and every shoot has been very different and he is definitely thinking outside the box. I am very happy with my pictures and can't wait to work with David again!

Curious Model

Been Shooting with David for a second time and BOTH times been amazing experience. To be fare I couldn't wait when I will shoot with him again and now I am again waiting for the next chance. It's fantastic to work with him. Very relaxed atmosphere which is important for a model. It was great fun and fantastic photos done by Amazing Professional Photographer which I would Definitely Recommend to anyone. Hope to work With David soon again.

FANTASTIC photographer; very very easy going and extremely easy to get a long with; a lovely gentleman with an equally lovely personality; he made the experience a fun and up beat place to be, always laughing and very relaxed.

His lighting skills and direction advice were awesome, and I hope to work with him many more times in the future ! :) xxx

Work with David Long for the 3rd time this morning. It alway great pleasure to work with him. David is thoughtful and professional. All the photo shoot is well organised with detailed call sheets. He always want to try something different, want to think out of the box as a photographer. And always send photos to everyone of the team as quick as he can. Really respect him and recommend him.
