References for Long Acre Studio

I am so glad I got the chance to shoot here in this beautiful home studio. It's location is just AMAZING-as is the flat, 5 beautiful arched windows with shutters, high ceilings and an abundance of stylish furniture and interesting corners. Fully functional studio set up as well as a natural homely setting. It was actually much bigger than I anticipated! I thoroughly enjoyed shooting here, it made SUCH a nice change from working in a commercial studio. Very cool place indeed. And the cats! 😍😍😍 I could have brought them both home with me. Thanks Sofia I hope to visit your new place once your up and running.

Worked with Lottie at Sofia's home studio on the 10th Dec. To coin a phrase!! "small but perfectly formed".

Situated just a few hundred yards from Covent Garden tube station this little gem offers lots of places to work in to cover most styles of work. It is equipped with lots of flash heads, soft boxes, brollies etc etc, and loads of props and backdrops.

Sofia is a very bubbly and loveable person and makes you feel right at home and just lets you get on with it but will also give a helping hand if needed.- makes a great cup of tea too. There are two other inhabitants - John and Ralph - two most delightful cats. A studio I would heartily recommend.

shot at Sofia's apartment today. i wanted a normal domestic setting and it fit the bill perfectly. Sofia was very warm and welcoming and made us feel comfortable straight away. I only shoot natural light and there was a superabundance of it. The space is full of atmosphere and i was up against it just trying to exploit the light in the 90 minutes of shoot time (and with a model i'd never shot with before). but i'll be back to do it justice.

Booked the studio for a shoot last week. There was a bit of confusion as Sofia the studio manager, her booking app had gone down and lost the info, so wasn't expecting me. But all was resolved. It's a good space to use, though I did find it a little cramped with the bedroom space, for what I'd planned to shoot, but I'll know for next time and I do intend to use this studio as often as I can. Just make sure your booked models know it's in the centre of London and therefore best to use public transport to get there and not drive.

Last night I had a fabulous time at the Long Acre Home studio shooting the stunning Chiara Elisabetta. Sofia who manages the studio is a lovely, friendly person and she has set up a beautiful environment in a one bedroom flat in Covent Garden for photographing models that would suit any kind of model photography including art nude, erotic and glamour. Sofia understands the needs of models and photographers well as she used to be a model herself. The location is incredibly convenient, only about 1 minutes walk from Covent Garden tube station! I teamed up with another photographer for the shoot, Carl-l, and we did some shots in the living room and also the bedroom. We would have done some shots in the bathroom,. which is also beautiful, but unfortunately we ran out of time...but next time we'll give that a go! I think the studio hire rates are also very reasonable, so I can definately recommend this studio and am planning another shoot there in early September.

I shot at Long Acre home studio yesterday with Second Glance, which is located in a beautiful part of Covent garden.

The studio's owner, Sofia, made me feel completely at ease from the start with her gorgeous and vivacious character - and her apartment studio was equally breath-taking!

The tall open windows let so much natural light in, the bedroom and lounge are spacious and beautifully furnished.

It's such a versatile, stunning studio, and it comes highly recommended from myself=)

Yesterday was my first time shooting Chiara Elisabetta at the Long Acre Studio along with Nigel Jayes. What is obvious is that the studio is unique and a hidden gem right in the heart of Covent garden. The studio is very clean and comes tastefully decorated, making the place a fantastic setting for intimate shots. Despite space being a premium in central london, the studio has all the necessary facilities including a private changing area, a make-up mirror for the model and access to private toilets.

Sofia, the studio owner is a bubbly character and was a fantastic host on the day.

I highly recommend Sofia's studio, and I am hoping to be back very soon for the next shoot.

Longacre is a little gem of a discovery. Lovely setting, extremely well appointed and very welcoming. I had a fantastic first shoot and have already booked to go again. Wonderful windows and superb for natural light shoots. You need to try it out - highly recommended

A great location in central London - making it really easy to get to and source models. Nice compact setup, with good equipment, TV, music, and refreshments - many thanks Sofia. Not a closed studio like many you see and so you can use the windows to give some excellent lighting effects. Plenty of room and power for my computer kit that follows me around! Excellent clean backdrops - everything looks like new!

Had a great shoot at the studio on 11th July 14. It is fantastically located in a beautiful part of central London & very easy to get to. The rooms are great & the equipment worked perfectly. Sofia & her partner were extremely helpful and accommodating of all requests to move furniture, change rooms etc.

Very much enjoyed my first shoot at this studio and will definitely be looking to shoot there again.

100% recommended.
