I went to see Rod and his lovely wife again a few weeks ago on my Scotland tour. Both were as welcoming as ever. This time we got to shoot in Rod's lovely studio and we quickly worked through the ideas that Rod had written down. The thing i like about working with Rod is how laid back the process is. Rod uses the images as references for his own paintings, so he always knows exactly what he's looking to get from the shoot. As ever, I was well fed and watered, and they were both great company.

Another wonderful little shoot with Rod. Unfortunately his studio is being refurbished so we weren't able to use that space, but Rod was wonderful and welcoming and fabulous company yet again. I am always very well looked after when I go there and am always sad to say goodbye.

I had a great first shoot with Road last weekend. I stayed and shot with Rod on my Scotland tour. Him and his wife were great hosts, making sire I was fed, watered and felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Rod knew exactly what he wanted and gave me great direction to make sure we achieved the results we needed. It's clear Rod is a great artist and loves what he does. I can happily recommend him to anyone, hope to work together again.

I worked with the lovely Rod during my last tour of Scotland... being a forgetful numpty amidst a very busy shooting schedule since - it completely slipped that I had not yet left him a reference for the wonderful productivity we enjoyed and also the delightful hospitality from Rod and his wife after staying with them during my travels. This is purely due to losing track of my admin in having so many working trips; I can wholeheartedly say that the whole shoot with Rod was a delightful one at his stupendous personal studio/art space. :)

After a fair amount of discussion about working together; we were at last able to seal a date and I am so pleased it all eventually worked out because we had a really fabulous session creating a variety of beautiful looks. Rod has a very talented eye for creativity and mood in the shots he captures: obviously photographing a look is one thing but he takes into account minor details too because his photographs are then destined to become beautiful paintings. :) As such, he is terrific at delivering direction and communicating to the models exactly what he wants to achieve. On the same note he also welcomes input from the models valuing the dynamic rapport you can get from working together and bouncing ideas.

It was so kind of Rod and his wife to host me for the night as well as looking after me on the day of the shoot. :) Because I was travelling by train, this made life a great deal easier and I cannot stress how comfortable I was made to feel: amazing food and company for the night I stayed. I can only reiterate what other models have said: sublime courtesy and respect for models that come to shoot. Made to feel at home and it's so lovely having friendly faces to chatter to (and about all sorts so we did!) during what can be quite a tiring and (at times) lonely trip away over such a stretch of time.

I cannot recommend Rod enough: he is utterly professional in his approach, well mannered and geniusly artistic. The work on display in his studio is so very inspiring. :) I very much look forward to working with Rod again in the future.

The shoots were very laid back but professional we even did a life drawing class which was great it was so interesting to listen to him teach :)

I cant wait to see the paintings and would definitely work with him again!

My shoot with Rod was great! He had a clear vision of what he wanted from our time together and was precise in direction and ideas, of which he had a few!

His workspace was relaxing, peaceful and warm! Not only that, but he was a perfect gentleman and an intresting man to talk too, his wife was a great host and I had a fantastic meal and did not go to bed hungry.

I really appreciated my time with him and cant wait to see what he does with the images for his future paintings.

I worked with and stayed with Rod and his wife for the second time recently. They are fantastic hosts, providing food, amenities and wonderful company in their beautiful home. I posed for Rod in his well-equipped and very warm studio. He uses the images as the basis for wonderful and well-regarded paintings which he displays throughout the world. As well as all that, he's lovely to work with. He gives clear, concise direction to fit with his vision for his paintings and always gives you an idea of what the end product will be. On top of that, he's an absolutely lovely person. I feel very lucky to have worked with him.
