References for Lily Gilbert

Just got back from the Muse Model Event in Spain yesterday which Lily had helped in part to create. I had jumped at the chance when Lily first told me about it as I had made a plan to shoot more on location during 2018 and of course I'd already shot with Lily during one of her Hacienda model days.

The event was extremely well thought out and run. Things didn't feel rushed or that you were competing against the other photographers on the trip. In fact everyone gelled really well together from the start so that when you were shooting with the models it felt like you were already working with friends rather than a model so that the creativity from both the models and the photographers was producing awesome results straight away. The photographers on this trip covered a range of styles both in photography and post processing, but all were happy to give tips to one another or ask questions without feeling that their way of doing things was any less or more than the other photographers. Everytime we sat down for meals everyone was always buzzing from the results they had gotten and were looking forward to seeing how the others had done.

I think Lily and Matt's aim was to have just that happen on this event - be creative. I've made friends on this event from models to photographers so hopefully I'll get to work with the models again in the future and there's already plans to meet up with a London based photographer from the group for a drink or two. I'd highly recommend Lily, Matt and the Muse Model team as an event that you should look into when they do future events. The chef they had was also secret weapon in that you were trying to remember to take pictures of the food too as it looked great, but would have already eaten it because it smelt and tasted so good.

Looking forward to hopefully going on future events when they do them.

Lily and I got together for a shoot at a model day at Hacienda Studio. This was the first time I worked with Lily and it was an absolute pleasure.

Lily has a great look, great personality and is very professional; she is very fluid in her poses and moves from one to the next with ease. Every time I was thinking of a specific pose she moved into it before I said anything (spooky).

Highly recommended and I would love to work with her again in the future.

The best of the best. Lily is the kind of model who will guarantee any photographer their best photos. We shot art nude in an old forest, with lots of fallen trees, aiming for an evening golden hour that only materialised for moments at a time. Everywhere we went Lily found amazing poses straight away, and every time a hint of interesting light appeared she was instantly in the best places to catch it. She's exceptionally efficient and super-professional, her poses are glorious and her range of intense, moody expressions just wonderful. Add that to the fact she's a lovely person to hang around with for a few hours and it's difficult to think of any ways she could be closer to the perfect model. Can't quite believe my luck that she's moved in down the road in Worcester. And can't wait to shoot with Lily again!!

Arranged a last minute shoot with Lily, using the Malvern Hills as our backdrop on a day that turned out to be the last of the Summer heat wave. What a shoot it was. Wonderful weather, wonderful views, wonderful model, wonderful company. Quite literally one of my best shoots ever. Need to find an excuse to return to Worcester soon. If you haven't shot with Lily yet, what are you waiting for!!

This was my first one with Lily and whenever possible not my last one!! Usually with my long term planning lots of time between the first encounter (actually Lily had me on her 'want to work with you list) and the now executed 2 day shooting, so we finally met in the arrival hall of Geneva Airport.

It was like greeting an old friend after a long time and this was the feeling throughout our long week-end.

To cut it short, can I recommend her?

YES!!

Will I shoot with her again?

Yes

She's very easy going, a pleasant person on and off the set, has a couple 'Duracells' installed and goes for the image one wants! Great posing from her side but also very willing to take directions or repeat things several times!

Despite the large amount of shootings in her past she's still with the shooting that you have at that day and very dedicated to achieve the best possible results!

And our cats miss her already, she was giving them endless cuddles:-)

So now only one task left, select and publish, but where to start?

The ones that should be binned are to few, so it will come to a lengthy screening process.

So with her big smile, her ideas and her creative input it's a pure delight to work with!

Versatile from Art nude to glamour magazines in a split second, give her a new theme and she rocks the show!

I have tried that actually and the surprise was definitively on my side!!

Fun, looks, dedication and presence, Lily is a big bag full of all of this.

And when she took the phone out to shoot images from the back of my cam and later from the screen at home I was pretty sure she liked the images too!

Hopefully our planned one for next year will come true, I'm very much looking forward after such a very positive experience with the last shooting.

Another great shoot with Lily, taking advantage of the glorious weather, the shoot was mainly on location in a beautiful park close to my studio. The shoot was very relaxed and chilled, perfectly executed. Lily had a huge wardrobe to choose from, we created several sets and created some fantastic images both in the studio and on location at a local park.

Lily is an awesome model to work with, she is totally professional, well organized, creative, dedicated, and hard working with a tremendous knowledge from both sides of the camera which ensures top quality images are always achieved.

Having worked with Lily a number of times, we have established a great working relationship of trust and respect allowing the shoot to flow, productive but lots of laughs and chat.

This is a model that every photographer should work with. You will certainly not be disappointed, looking forward to our next shoot.

Had another awesome shoot today with Lily at my home studio in Cheltenham. Pre-shoot communications were excellent, on route to the shoot, she regularly informed of her arrival time. Lily arrived on time, her make-up was applied to a very high standard her hair was immaculate.

Lily never fails to amaze me with new poses & ideas to obtain great images. She is a very professional and dedicated model, she is very approachable and easy to communicate with. Makes the shoot so relaxed and capturing images so easy.

Her profound sense of humour, ensures many laughs and a fun shoot, but always creating awesome images. Our shoot was chilled, fun but very productive, quality rather than quantity, feel we work so well together. Looking forward to our next shoot.

Thoroughly recommend Lily to all levels of photographer, you will not be disappointed.

When Lily's guest model at the Hacienda appeared, I jumped at the chance to work with her. I'd seen Lily's work with other photographers on her instagram and PP account so it was a no brainer to see if I could book on to one of the times during her weekend there. Thankfully I was able to and it was a few months wait, but today proved to be worth the wait. Working with Lily was super chilled, creatively rewarding and you know a model is happy with pictures if they are getting their phone out to get some "off the laptop" images. We shot some video as well for a possible GS youtube video after each outfit and it was great to get feed back from Lily both on images and footage we'd shot.

Highly recommended from me and hope I get to work with her again in the future on other projects.

Lily and myself have been trying to arrange a shoot for some time so when she messaged me to say she was going to be at The Hacienda I booked four hours without hesitation.I have been a fan of Lilys work for sometime and wasn't disappointed,Excellent pre shoot comms and arrived at the studio on time and ready to shoot.

She is one of those models that exceed your expectations,fun,chatty,professional and most of all a complete joy to work with.We got through several sets on the day and produced some great images.

Hope to work with her again one day.

Had great location shoot with lily , even though it was a cold morning we still got loads of amazing images , she's very easy to work with , had brought plenty of changes of clothing and poses effortlessly. I ll definitely be booking a second shoot with her soon and would happily recommend her to anyone

Lily was part of a duo shoot with Georgia. She was brilliant. Easy to work with and professional throughout. Would definitely work with her again and would recommend to other photographers.

Had a shoot booked with Lily at Mick Paytons.

We attended a Lipstick Kiss workshop.

Lily was great very easy to work with, Lily has a lovely personality very chatty, and made us all at ease.

No direction was needed yet if I had a pose that I wanted the two ladys to try and if they was comfortable to do it they did.

I would highly recommend Lily to any photographer.

I hope to work with Lily again in the near future.

Worked with Lily, on a duo workshop with Sophia Blake ran by Mick Payton. Both girls were excellent, easy to work with, very professional and chatty, and made everyone at ease.

As a duo they were fantastic. The chemistry they shared, I would have thought they had worked with each other for years, not just met the day before

Would highly recommend Lily to all, both solo or as a duo. Will be working with her again soon

I attended a group shoot, where I got to work with Lily and Sophia as a duo. This was my first time shooting a duo, but I settled into it very quickly, in no small way due to Lily's calm, approachable demeanor, high energy level and quiet intensity.

Aside from being strikingly beautiful, with classic cheekbones and big smokey eyes, Lily poses in a fluent and natural manner, and also easily takes direction.

The day flew by much faster than I would have liked.

I would happily and highly recommend Lily to photographers of any level, and hope to shoot with her again soon.

Had my second shoot with Lily after a far too long break working with her. Great pre comms and arranging the themes I wanted to work on at Far Forest studio using Hannah Louise Field for Hair and Make up. Lily got straight into the themes I wanted to work on and delivered some outstanding poses and looks that were ideal for the shoot. Lily is patient, contributes her thoughts and is fun to work with. Highly recommended and I will try not to leave it so long before the next shoot :)

Yet again I've had the chance to work with another truly amazing model, It was a spur of the moment shoot but boy I'm glad I did!

A brilliant sense of humour, great pre shoot communication only adds to Lily's beauty.

We set off, weather looking great and a great location,then the hail came thundering down! Through it all Lily came up with the most amazing poses,with no direction whatsoever, She really has got her poses absolutely nailed. Never complaining, and always with a beaming smile, even when she was standing near the most enormous wood ants!

The shoot just flew by, one of those days when its freezing one minute and the next your bathing in warm sunshine. We laughed through it all.

I'd recommend Lily 110%, I cant wait to shoot with her again, Sheer professionalism, astounding beauty and a wonderful person, its a no brainer!

PS Watch out when your taking sample shots,the funny faces she pulls are hilarious.
