I loved shooting with you and I do hope your travels in the uk and indeed my homeland Ireland went amazing for you!! What a day working with Ron. I feel honered that I was his final stop on his uk Tour as tomorrow he travels to Dublin.

I knew instantly from the phone call prior to picking him up that we were going to get on great. Some people just gel well and we certainly did that. It made for a super fun and enjoyable shoot at an abandoned Castle in Scotland. I loved showing Ron the castle as he was as excited and in awe as I am and a real kid when it comes to exploring.

Ron is a fantastic photographer above all else, very professional and has a good eye for details and getting the right angle and background. He works fast but efficient which I like, getting the best shots, moving on and quickly setting up again wasting no time in between. We had a lot of space and background to cover and looking back through the back of the lense I am more than impressed with the beautiful art nude created.

We timed everything so perfectly, as we were leaving the abandoned castle 5 members of the public were just about to enter and the rain came on. Just one of those days where things were allinged and everything fell into place.

After the shoot I took Ron to a nearby pub for food and he treated me to the most delicious 'supper'.

The only downside to today is that Ron lives so far away in Vancouver and it will be at least a year to shoot with him again.

Having said that I'm grateful to have worked together today and I want to say thanks for reaching out and asking me to model for you, it my absolutute pleasure.

I had the opportunity to work with Ron yesterday during his trip to the UK. He booked me at my local studio and from the moment I turned up I felt completely at ease in his company!

Ron's communication on the lead up to the shoot was clear and informative. On the shoot itself he was happy to let me flow but also gave good directions when needed too. We shot tethered (until the technology gave up on us haha) which really helped to see what we were achieving and tweak things in lighting and posing until we got something great. We worked through a range of different styles and emotive sets, from edgier/moodier sets through to more soft/dream like. From what I saw on the back of the laptop and camera we got some absolutely stunning images :)

Ron is such a gentleman, very respectful and kind, and so easy to talk to - I honestly felt like I had known him years! The whole shoot was very creative and felt like a true collaboration. There are some shoots that you just come away from on such a high and with a creative buzz, and this was most definitely one of them!

All in all it was just such a a pleasure working with Ron. I would 100% recommend him to others and truly hope to work with him again in future :)

I had a great shoot with Ronald today at Rawpics Studio - we worked through a range of looks with various props and accessories and captured some fantastic shots.

Ronald is a keen art photographer with a strong idea of what he wants to capture, and it was great to get the chance to review that through his tethered set up.

We clearly share the same passion for art photography and it was interesting to hear about Ronald’s extensive photographic knowledge and experience.

I was very chuffed to be Ronald’s first shoot in the UK and I really look forward to seeing the pics and what else he produces during his UK tour.

Ron is so easy to work with and would recommend any model to work with him. I had two wonderful day shoots with Ron so we could take our time and have an adventure! We got so many different looks with an abandoned house the first time round! And some beautiful west coast beauty in there too! On our second shoot I got an amazing opportunity to travel to Tofino together and it was hard, tough hike to an old WW2 plane wreck, but SO worth it. What an experience. Ron makes you feel comfortable, well fed and looked after, kind and professional. We had awesome flowing conversation too and a great collection of ideas between the two of us. I enjoyed our shoots so much, can’t wait till we can shoot again !
