I had a wonderful and unique shoot with Chris today! It was really enjoyable doing something different to my normal style of modelling and I was really interested finding out about it. Chris had excellent pre shoot communication and I felt I came to the shoot prepared and ready to make his idea come to life! Chris is great to work with and very friendly so totally recommend working with him! Thank you for a great shoot Chris, I look forward to seeing the results!

A fun and quite unusual shoot with Chris at his beautiful home! The 'light painting' style means lots of planning and then holding poses for 1-2 mins at a time which can be quite a fun change of pace, definitely a different experience to most shoots. Chris's pre-coms were excellent so although the set up was unusual, I was completely clear on the plan and knew what to expect. He was kind enough to pick me up from the station and drop me back, making sure I was in time for my preferred train.

His lovely wife Mags was on hand to help with costumes and a ready supply of tea. I look forward to seeing how the images turn out and if we managed to achieve what we were aiming for. I would happily shoot with Chris again, and can recommend him to other models, especially if you are getting a little bored of shoots all feeling the same!

Had a great shoot today with Chris. We shot a few scenes and ideas with Jessica Knight. There were a few technical difficulties but we got there. Really great time and lots of tea. I am really looking forward to seeing the results. Would love to do this again sometime

We had an amazing shoot with Chris an Mags today. We were late because the M25 was being worse than usual but this wasn't a problem. We arrived to a welcome cup of tea. There were some amazing costumes so I was in my element. A really good shoot that was so interesting and there was much discussion about each shoot and how to achieve the best. We all.had a good time. I am really looking forward to seeing the results and really hope we can work together again soon.

I had a fantastic artistically wonderful shoot with Chris, his shoot style is so interesting using light to creat artistic creations which I loved 🥰

Chris is a lovely person and I really enjoyed working with him - he was very kind and looked after me really well - I really enjoyed working with him as I felt like we were creating art which was exactly how I love to work. He comes highly recommended and I hope to work with him again in the future.

Punctual and reliable - showed up and on time. **I must mention here, I suffer with mental health and sadly Chris and had been trying to get the shoot going since December, but I had a tough time, most togs would not be so understanding or accommodating, all with friendly professional contact, to reschedule as many times as we had to, due to having a dip of Christmas with my mental health and I just want to say thank you again Chris, it's really touching, and you're a very patient and understanding, kind man... Right so, initial hello and I made coffee, while he setup - which was quick and effortless... He immediately pulled out a back drop and took my images I had requested from the shoot first, mainly a 'leaning on arms' photo that I am sending to an artist cousin South Africa to be sketched... There was a small selection of 10 or so which was just enough to vary between picking the best one... Thank you Chris for putting me first, more than once... We then proceeded to the 'painting' and it's a very interesting process - with blacked out light (setup was again quick with dark material over the curtains - he didn't struggle once and knew exactly what he was doing... In the dark the light is very interesting - and I love how he said about the texture of my hair that is caught that a convenational camera wouldn't pick up like he did with the 'painting' and it's true, it's rich in texture in the photos! Amazing results! Trying to remain still was challenging, but I have had harder poses... Very creative, bit witty, very kind, quick working - I mean so much came out I was amazed and half turning and it was all packed... he is definitely skilled in more areas than one ;) Ladies, treat him with the best you got because he certainly gives it...! Relatively fast turnaround of images, I am very pleased. PS (a true gentleman he even gave me a small tip which was very much appreciated!) Thank you Chris! Any time for you!

I had a wonderful shoot with Chris. His ideas of mixing painting and photography really grabbed my attention, I just had to take part and I had an amazing time doing it. Chris has beautiful vision and made me feel 100% comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

Lovely second shoot with Chris today at his home, Always a pleasure and always enjoy wearing the lovely gowns.

This time we shot with John JS Photos, Firstly shooting some great ideas Chris had and managed to captured them beautifully, Then moving on to the garden and getting some rather fun shots swirling and dancing around in dresses.

Chris is lovely guy and was very much accommodating, Thank you for the lovely lunch very much appreciated and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

JS Photos

I had a joint shoot with Chris Lightful and Jade K at his home last week.. We started with an indoor session, and Chris showed me his technique of light painting.

I was given the opportunity to try this myself later but still have to process my images to see how I fared. Jade had to hold her poses without moving for 2 minutes + which is not easy, but when I process the images we shall see how successful we were.

After lunch, kindly provided by Chris, we did my more normal implied and nude images in the garden. Jade was her usual self, full of ideas and fun, and both, Chris and myself took advantage of these ideas.

Thank you Chris for a very informative and fun day to add to my experience, you can never stop learning about photographic techniques.

We had big plans for this really creative shoot and I am pretty sure we are both going to be happy! Chris is really creative and uses a unique technique of light painting to achieve some really lovely effects. Pre Comms were great and we managed three different concepts with our three hours of studio time. Great to work with looking forward to collaborating again!

Shooting with Chris was the loveliest experience. We've spoken for several months exchanging our ideas and having great conversation before having the joy of meeting today. His way of shooting is beautiful and a fabulous add to my need for creation!

I have to mention how not only how talented Chris is but how kind too. He offered to rearrange our shoot with no problems at all when I was going through a tough time and made sure I was 100% happy to shoot again when we did meet. He was so complimentary when shooting and made my ideas feel heard - and we came out with some shots that I think we both fell in love with!

A wonderful person and great artist, I would highly recommend Chris. 5 stars!

Yesterday's shoot with Chris was a long time in the making. Various setbacks and of course the biggest one we have all suffered. At last we made it and what an enjoyable day it was.

Chris is very welcoming and pre-shoot communications have been excellent, no doubts as to what he hoped to achieve. He explained his style of shooting very simply making it both interesting and easy to understand how he shoots and how his images are produced. He also asked me for any ideas I would like to include.

I'm looking forward to seeing how yesterday afternoon's work looks and special thanks to his wife for the lovely lunch and I hope we can do it all again at some point. Thank you again Chris.

At last after the Covid delays I had a shoot with Chris he was professional and accommodating throughout. His light painting technique is a fascinating process to be involved in and is very much a collaboration where theme and detail is concerned. I would encourage models of all levels to work with Chris if the opportunity arises. I look forward to seeing the finished images.

Just got home from a shoot with Chris at his lovey home.

Was such a refreshing change to shoot something and in a style I haven’t shot before it was extremely interesting and we captured some Lovely shots.

His ideas and direction during the shoot were superb, As were the pre comms, Chris is a lovely guy.

Thank you to his lovely wife for the tea and helping with the stunning costumes (I wish I could of worn them all day)

I can’t wait to see the stunning images we created.

Had a wonderful shoot with Chris last week. It was my second shoot with him and it's always a pleasure every time.

Pre shoot communications were fantastic. Chris created a shoot plan, detailing everything he wanted to achieve and he was happy to take on some of my input as well. During the shoot Chris was so professional and respectful and really is passionate about his work. I cannot wait to see the results. 100% recommended to all :)
