I am a mature 79 year old artist/photographer - a pure amateur with huge youthful creativity and passion for showing women in all possible ways to celebrate them, their strength and beauty.

As well as conventional photography, I now merge the two disciplines of painting and photography by using Light to create images that portrays the scene as I saw it not as the camera would normally recorded it.

      Conventional photography is representational and is about seeing and capturing scenes in an instant,
      where as photographic painting evolves over time and portrays what one imagines or sees.

My painting with light is doing just that - controlling the light in each part of the scene independently of other parts of it. I use a handheld Light Brush, just as a painter uses a paintbrush, to reveal, or not, the objects in the image in the way I want to emphasis their contribution in the final picture.
