Wow what a place....starting to become my favourite place to shoot. I recommend all photographers and models to use Andys place.

You will always feel comfortable and Andy is willing to help where possible if your a new photographer starting out or just need a nudge in the right direction.

Andy is very professional and I would 100% recommend him xx

I used Light-and-Dark for a group shoot today. A brilliant experience and I recommend the studio 100%.

We were thrown a serious curveball right away when not one but TWO of the five models were, at the very last minute, unable to come along. In addition, I had underestimated the technical issues involved in what was my first studio shoot.

Andy, the owner of Light-and-Dark, sensed my inexperience and was helpful in too many ways to mention. For example, my camera was not up to the job, and he lent me his camera - a huge act of trust with a total stranger! He advised me on every single aspect of the shoot, including showing me all the ins and outs of "green screen" photography and post-shoot editing.

The result of all that was that we got some great pictures out of the shoot. Thanks Andy - I cannot recommend Light-and-Dark highly enough.

Finally, I should mention that in addition to the main studio space, there are a number of additional rooms and locations available, which would make great settings for a variety of types of shoot.

Today I took part in a group-shoot at Light-and-Dark. Andy was helpful throughout, guiding the photographer through the studio. It is well equipped, with all of the equipment a photographer might need, and the rooms are all large, with good-sized windows, as well as the green-screen area, which was used for the shoot. If you are looking for a local studio in Derby, then this place is worth checking out.

Perfect studio that has it all for any photographer wanting different types of photography from boudoir to fetish and beyond loads of natural light, green screen you name it its got it and for models it's a home so lots of warmth places to change tea and biscuits what's not to like!. I highly recommend this studio and the photographer your only bound by your imagination so go shoot! it's got the fox's approval and that's not easy to aquire xxx

Wow...had an amazing shoot with Andy. A great experience and I learnt a lot. He is such a lovely guy and his home and studio are stunning and the dog is beautiful.

I enjoyed our time together shooting and would love to work with Andy again. I would 100% recommend him to all models and I'm looking forward to see the images captured on the day....especially the ones with me and pooch xx

I had so much fun shooting at Light and dark home studio. It was easy to find and I feel comfortable as soon as I arrived.

There are so many great places to shoot in this house and it also provides accommodation if needed. Great for touring models.

Time went by so quickly but we still managed to get some great images.

well i am very much involved with this studio and i work from here with all of my fetish work and it has now been set up as a lovely little studio to also work from on a photographic basis ...

the downstairs dungeon area is very well set up and absolutely perfect for any types of fetish photography and even suspension works x The upstairs area is very light , the windows big which lets in lots of light and the wooden floors are perfect to use alongside the large windows ... the bedroom is perfect for all types of glamour, erotic and art nude work ...

there are many possibilities of using this little studio , lots of spaces and areas that can be used very creatively . there is great little kitchen with tea and coffee and all you need to have a fun shoot there .

I am going to be working from here on a regular basis and i can highly recommend this studio to work from ....
