Excellent studio in the city centre. Lots of natural lighting from the large windows and opportunity to use the excellent studio lighting available there too. John is always a first class hit and available to help when required.

Libres new premises are well recommended. Beautiful open and airy with lovely big windows for natural light and more than enough room and high ceilings to create some fantastic images. All you can want in a studio

Keep it Classy

First time at this great studio an it defiantly won’t be the last. I was there thanks to Jenny O’Sullivan as she had organised a model day there. I was impressed with the layout an the equipment was similar to what I’ve used before. An thanks to John for helping set up the way I wanted. An he then just leaves you to it. The studio has great natural light of your shooting during the day. I highly recommend this studio as it’s a bargain for the price which others charge you at least double for a similar studio.

First time in the studio's new location in Oriel Chambers. Excellent space and facilities, John really friendly and helpful, amosphere brilliantly creative. Hope to be back soon. Highly recommend.

This was my first time in the new studio and it is fantastic. It has moved to slightly further out off the city centre directly opposite James St station in the beautiful Oriel Chambers building, . if shooting in daytime the light will be superb but as it was night time we had to rely on John extensive lighting. I will be back!

Brilliant space to shoot in ,, Blackswann and myself got some awesome photos ,, lots of props to use loads of creativity to be done at Libre studio ,, and very good price for hire ,, and Blackswann is just superb model who is available to hire there ,, and John the owner is very friendly n easy to get on with n very helpful ,, def recommend

Shot for the first time today at Libre Studio and what a fab space. Very centrally located in the heart of Liverpool, it's easy to get to and the building is brillant to shoot in. John was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to shooting there again in the future :)

Had a Shoot and Tutorial at Libre Studio after applying to a Casting.

Amazing people.

Libre Studio is so well located at the Heart of Liverpool with easy transport connections.

The Building is amazing and there is so much natural light.

The Model, the Tutors and John were so helpful.

Now, I do have a better understanding of Studio lighting and Photoshop editing.

Definitely a very productive day, and definitely an improvement of my skills.

Had my first shoot at Libre, and it certainly won't be the last! Very well equipped, great open spaces, lot's of room to work in, all in a fab location!

And can't speak highly enough of John, helpful to a fault, nothing was too much trouble. Good advice and put a lot of effort into helping me get the shots I wanted. All round top bloke!

I had the absolute pleasure in working with John Ayliffe at his studio in Liverpool today, accompanied by 2 local models who I had arranged on this site.

The studio itself had everything I needed and more, with so much in the way of lighting, backdrops, props, fashion accessories, meaning the list would go on and on...

John is such a great guy, warm and friendly and just so easy to work with. I asked John to work with me and guide me on using the studio lighting, and in particular, low lighting for moody kind of portrait shots that I like very much.

He explained each and every set up from the start, making sure I followed and was capturing the kind of images we had discussed beforehand.

I give Libre studio my highest recommendation which extends to John himself, if like me, you want to draw from his vast knowledge and improve your own photography skills.

I have taken so much from today, and cannot thank you John enough for helping me achieve some great images and thoroughly enjoy every minute of today's shoot!

A brilliant photoshoot at Libre Studio right in the heart of the city, pre shoot comms were excellent and John was very friendly, welcoming and helped me set up things just the way I wanted, even going to the trouble of suspending a 90cm softbox from the ceiling to act as a hair light! Highly recommended, hope to return soon. 5*

I have done shoots at Libre countless times now (In both John's old and new studios.

John is great to know and communication and arranging shoots is easy. On my latest shoot I did something a bit different in terms of theme and he was able to provide what turned out to be a great selection of wedding dresses.

Libre is a great, with a decent amount of equipment as well as some natural light space.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic studio and made to feel really at ease with John and the rest of the photographers, as I am new to studio photography and they were amazingly helpful and models they provided were fantastic. I have been to Woolton Hall many times. This event is ran by John Ayliffe.

John also has his own studio in The old George Henry Lees/ Rapid building. (opp Radio City Town)

For one reason and another I had never been able to get to his studio. That was until Yesterday. Group event ran by Kyran Ambrose. It's a great space. Really well equipped.

Really well ran by John.

John is also on and to help out (setting and lighting) If you are looking for a well ran & equipped studio, With some amazing natural light. (which was a nice surprise) Then you have to visited Libra Studio's. 100% Recommend. Will hopefully be visiting again soon.

I attended a group shoot at Libre studio today. The studio's location is ideal: literally a two minute walk from the train station. It is a beautiful studio in an amazing old building. And John was absolutely lovely. Highly recommended!
