I'm Laura van Venom, a darkly inclined, gothic, witchy, alternative, metalhead lady from Norwich. I love getting creative and artistic in pretty much all aspects in my life and so I am drawn to modelling to translate my creative personality in photoshoots. I am constantly bursting with ideas for photoshoots and want to work with fellow creatives to bring these ideas and yours to life. 

I love makeup, alternative fashion, music and anything spooky and macabre. My goal with modelling is to be published, work with brands and build a name for myself in the modelling industry. I am currently trying to grow my Instagram with great success to put my work out into the world as much as possible.

T&Cs:

I've been modelling on and off for nearly 5 years and have been met with a lot of obstacles in the way of me pursuing a possible career. I'm now wanting to take it fully seriously and really progress with it and do photoshoots on a regular basis. I work from home so have near full availability. I do not have my own transport currently so would need to arrange this either by public transport, friends or family taking me or the photographer themselves willing to take me. If I have not worked with you before I will always bring a friend, male or female, for assistance, and likely on all shoots so I am able to get BTS pictures and videos for my social media but this would be on an availability basis of the assistant. If I have not worked with you before this is non negotiable for my safety. I work on a TF basis mainly as I don't have financial stability to pay for shoots. I am very proficient with my own hair styling and makeup and also have an extensive wardrobe for many types of shoots. 

Important info:

I'm neither plus size or slim, just an average chubby lady in which I feel this body type is not nearly represented enough. I have very low self esteem in which modelling helps me to deal with these issues but it does mean I can feel prone to hating my photos or asking certain things to be edited, if this happens this is not a reflection on the photographer, just my own personal reasons and I hope you wouldn't feel offended if I end up not using the photos. I'm hoping the more I do photoshoots the better I will feel. If you're unable to edit something I have specifically requested, I will pass it on to trusted acquaintances to edit instead in which both the photographer and editor will be credited. Please make sure you agree to this should this happen.  

I am a mental and chronic illness sufferer which leaves me very tired and in pain on a daily basis as well as a whole host of other symptoms. I am able to do shoots but simply need a bit of understanding and easy going if I have to cancel or am slack at replying to messages. Please don't take this personally or think I am being unprofessional, I will get round to you!

• Appeared in music video for 'Payback' by ex The Darkness drummers new band Puppets to the Supreme Commander. Yet to be released (2018)
• Appeared in a music video for metal band Red Method - Yet to be released
• Did makeup for metal band Red Method for a music video (to be released) and for their album For the Sick (To be released February 2020)
• Modelled merch for thrash metal band Elimination (October 2019)
