I was born in 1955 the son of an Engineer and Artist

Raised and educated in the North East of England

Time served Electrical Engineer and part time Photographer

Studied Professional Photography at Newcastle College

 
Past President of Tynemouth Photographic Society

Chairman of Tynemouth Photographic Society Digital Group

Married, Grew a Beard, Built Boats, Travelled the world, Dived, Worked.

Living the good life in The North East growing veggies

Eager to travel more and record those special moments

 

My range of subjects is broad and the images I produce portray a personal vision, covering numerous subjects such as nature, landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, fine art, fashion, architecture, sport, underwater and much more both in colour and monochrome,

 

I have had images published in several magazines and have won awards in a number of UK photographic society competitions and International photography exhibitions

I give talks on all genres of photography to camera clubs and other organisations

I enjoy providing photography workshops and tuition to people with varying levels of ability
