LaFleur Bodyart

Creative bodypaint and makeup artist currently living and working in Exmouth, Devon. I have been painting faces & creating art for many years. I am also trained in makeup application.

Using the human body as my canvas, I am to explore the world, past, present and future through the medium of art, design and creativity. I want to change the perceptions of bodyart and open the minds of those who misinterpret this art as being debauched.

Working alongside other creatives such as models, photographers and musicians as a means to communicate ideas, feelings and promote discussion. I hope to eventually create a portfolio of work that spans my interests in many areas - exploring relationships, history, feelings, current affairs, food/drink, animals, mythical creatures and scenery.

I am passionate about art and love to work freely and unconstrained. This allows me to fully immerse myself into the creative process. Since starting out, I have had the opportunity to travel to compete at events such as Paintopia in Norfolk, Bodyfactory at the Eden Project, Cornwall , Schosas bodypainting festival Malta (Winner SFX Category 2016) and worked alongside other artistes in Studio Bien, Belgium. I also organise the Devon Bodyart Exhibition ([url removed]).

Using professional, highly pigmented face & body paints and glitter applications that are made specifically for application on skin (both EEA and FDA approved) I do not use any acrylics or unsuitable products. Fully insured, I adhere to a professional code of conduct. Makeup  - I use products from house of glamdolls, mac, illamasqua, chanel, huda beauty and tarte.

My standard rates start at a base rate of £45ph depending on the project, travel involved and materials expense. Happy to provide a quotation.

TFP work accepted for makeup looks only at present as I am building a portfolio of work, any project considered. Local projects would be great - travel fees would be required if further afield.

Easy going and laid back yet professional. I work to a high standard and expect the same from my models and togs. All prints must be usable for all collaborators in any project. All models will be well looked after.
