I had a really funky shoot in mind and Sam was the perfect person for it. She's unique, vibrant and colourful in both appearance and personality, which absolutely shines in her pictures.

She came with a varied and creative wardrobe and was happy to incorporate smoke bombs, which was a first for us both!

Sam and I had originally discussed a location shoot for last week but unfortunately the weather wasn't suitable for what we had planned so we did a quick studio shoot instead.

We were intending to do a more surreal themed location shoot so we tried a few different non-typical portraits styles in the studio primarily using natural light and a few with studio flash.

Sam has a striking look, very expressive eyes and fabulous hair - qualities which had originally prompted me to offer her a shoot. She has a lovely natural personality and was very easy to get on with. She poses very naturally, takes direction well and interjects with her own ideas. We made full use of her beautiful red hair and got through a few different costume changes.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to other photographers and we already have our location shoot rescheduled. Thanks Sam :)
