Ghost Light Photography

Sometimes shoots go so well that you almost forget that you have met the model for the first time at a railway station a couple of hours ago. Working with Kitty was exactly this way, simply a natural experience where we could bounce around ideas and create some fantastic images.

It would be fair to say that the location gave us some unexpected challenges, the unusually warm and sunny weather seemed to attract walkers as never before. However, the interruptions did not diminish Kitty's ability to create a huge range of poses, working with the opportunities available. Even some unusual ideas seemed a natural extension of the creative process. For practical purposes, an otherwise extensive wardrobe had been reduced to a small set of essentials and yet Kitty was in possession of just the right option for each situation. This almost magical ability is nothing short of remarkable.

Kitty is great company on a shoot, an easy communicator and capable of producing an endless variety of looks and styles with practically no discernible change to hair and make up. A willingness to try something different and fabulous adaptability just adds that little extra to any shoot. I would absolutely recommend Kitty and hope we can shoot together again soon.

Kitty Quinzell. A name to conjure with. Light, playful, friendly with a touch of the unpredictable, a promise of the exotic . . .

"I want to shoot tasteful erotic", she says. "I have some ideas". As it happened, I also had a few ideas . . .

Five and a half hours later I was utterly spent yet the ideas kept pouring out of both of us. "We have to shoot again" was all we could say to each other.

I am able to judge how much I enjoyed a shoot by the state of my studio afterwards - what about this idea, that prop - shoot, swear in delight, shoot - no time to pack away . . . Today my studio is an utter mess.

Three things about this amazing young lady -

1. Kitty is stunningly - a pretty face with a physique that is unquestionably worthy of mention in dispatches

2. Kitty has the skills and flexibility to shape that body in a way that makes the most hardened of photographers go weak at the knees.

3. Finally - the unpredictable, the exotic, the promise of something more. In front of the camera the lady metamorphoses into a new persona, exhibiting wiles and a gritty creativity I

would not have expected from the somewhat reserved person I picked up at the station. Miss Quinzell is utterly exciting to shoot.

Will I work with Kitty again - you bet ! Again and again . . .

Into Darkness

I've actually struggled to come up with the words to even describe the whirlwind that is Kitty.

First of all, communications are excellent. That's not really unexpected from a model with 239 other references (correct at time of writing) and it's going to be noted in the next however many too.

From those communications, months ahead, I knew that this shoot was going to be something rather special. the thought of it did leave me with increasing levels of anxiety though - what if she's that good and I'm terrible and I've just wasted both our time? Well, fortunately this individual's rather excellent and putting such things to rest.

What followed was an absolutely crazy shoot with a number of different styles, looks, and even some total weirdness. And I know many say the words "crazy" and "weirdness" and they don't quite match up to the shoot. This one was far above and beyond. But in a good way.

An absolutely delightful individual to work with and just rolls with the crazy. A superstar, a posing machine who just knows what to do next, instinctively - and even helped a very new model learn some new ways of expressing themselves.

Worth her mass in antimatter. More shoots are needed.

Kitty and I worked together for the first time yesterday at Studio 8 in Salisbury as part of her latest tour down South. Her pre-shoot communications and all aspects of her organisation were spot on. More importantly, she gelled superbly with the two scenarios I had in mind, exercising great patience during several time consuming preparations (including large format camera set up). Most importantly, she threw herself into the tasks, providing a wide spectrum of expression and mood to generate some thought-provoking images: exactly what we were seeking to achieve.

Overall, Kitty is a stylish and experienced model. She is also congenial and easy to work with; a real pleasure, in fact.

So thank you very much for our shoot, Kitty. I recommend you very highly and trust that we will gain a chance to work together again.

You want professional? You have it. But you will get added crazy - hilarious crazy. So much fun

I've wanted to work with Kitty for a while and when I finally got the chance I jumped at it.

It was well worth the wait. The ideas I had for the shoot were understood, interpreted and expanded upon. Did they all work? No. But that's the point of experimenting with the ideas. When the experiments worked, boy did they work.

When the person you're collaborating with helps you push your own creative limits you're onto a winning shoot.

I cannot recommend working with Kitty enough and look forward to working with her again.

I'll be picking shots for weeks.

So after being Scouted and briefed by Kitty i was very prompt in responding to the message's with a YES.. regarding the idea's of this shoot as it was totally whacky cool and very different in many way's to the normal booking's i get.

So her communication's are just fast prompt and very detailed. Gets everything out there for you to know your role and part to the tee..

Come's packed and raring to go so much to choose to wear. Great wardrobe.

Excellent make up for each set we did. Fitted into the style perfectly.

Expressive and experience show's with her pose's and energy to act the idea out.

A very polite and friendly professional also. Making for a easy day of work not once did i feel uncomfortable or unable to act with this lady..

I'm running out of superlatives. Kitty is just so expressive and able to communicate the essence of any crazy idea I come up with. I just finished doing an initial edit of the very first image and it is already looking amazing. Her energy and poise working alongside Mr. NPR were first class, as always.

It was a long and hot afternoon with a lot crammed into every minute, but Kitty was as calm and as focused as always. I can't think of anyone better for this type of work and once again I have had a wonderful day working with her.

I've worked with kitty on a number of occasions before today's shoot and I'm yet to find a flaw in either her modelling ability or her attitude. She really is very good. 14/10.

Captured Moments

Just finished off my first shoot with the lovely Kitty, been a long time coming but definitely worth the wait. Communication before hand was spot on and felt we knew each other for longer then what we actually have.

Arrived on time with more then enough worbdrobe worth of outfits :)

The shoot itself just flew back with extra ideas thrown in during the time.

Worth I work with Kitty again? For sure I will and definitely would recommend Kitty to any photographer l, such a gem to the modelling industry. Look forward to when our paths cross again 🙂

Had a great shoot with Kitty today, really easy going, great fun, easy to chat to and loads of top poses in different genres, didn't need any direction unless you wanted something specific and then it would look just as you wanted. A really great model and I was lucky to shoot with her today. Going to follow and hope to shoot again sometime, thanks Kitty!

Pathway Studios

Kitty has been modeling a long time now and it's often made me wonder why she has not been to Pathways yet!

Well, she's finally made it here and hosted a successful studio day (plus a bit!) What a superb character and a seriously skilled model. Not only are her poses endlessly varied she has developed excellent fascial expressions - something she believes is just as important as posing!.

I know everyone who worked with her here thought she was totally brilliant, so it's plainly obvious Kitty will have to be back at Pathways again in the not too distant future. Excellent and highly recommended.

I've been spotting Kitty's work popping up here, there and everywhere for a very long time and have admired her style, but never got around to shooting with her until now - silly me!

Kitty absolutely blew all my expectations into oblivion as she was totally and utterly amazing. I'm normally a fairly slow shooter, but somehow in the space of about an hour I ended up with a number of images more normally achieved in 3 hours. I know quality is more important than quantity, but I could not really fault any images, even the outtakes!, such is the quality of Kitty's abilities and her amazing look. She completely understood my quirky ideas of mixing and matching stuff that you would normally think were incompatible :)

She is an ultra friendly person and a damn good laugh, but completely professional and she most definitely works her socks off - despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, with no respite anywhere from the heat, she just kept going in those uncomfortable conditions.

I really loved her company for the couple of days she was working at my studio and I can't wait to when she can make it back again. Absolutely one of the best and totally recommended by me.

Great first shoot with Kitty during her studio day at Pathway Studios and WOW! Expectations well and truly blown :)

We managed to pick the hottest day of the year but, while I melted into a messy pool, she somehow managed to look cool and fresh and the heat certainly didn't lessen the number of ideas and poses, which just kept flowing! It also doesn't hurt that she's completely bonkers, not every model will crawl under a rusty van in a dirty warehouse to 'see what it looks like' :) It looked good by the way :)

And, as a bonus, she gets 10/10 for her shoot playlist!!

In short, highly recommended and looking forwards to the next time!

I really enjoyed my second shoot with Kitty! He pre-shoot comms were fab and she even arrived at the shoot location a bit early, so we were able to get started nice and promptly.

The shoot itself was a very pleasant and chilled out affair. Kitty's iPad acquitted itself very well as a jukebox in the background, while Kitty was a virtuoso performer in her own right – bringing spadefuls of attitude to our edgy first look, exuding sultriness for our second, and serving up some fetish fashion flair for the third. She also had some great lighting ideas that we managed to work in, and we somehow didn't run out of things to chat about either. ;)

I'm delighted with the results we got together, and looking forward to working with her as soon as another opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended – thanks so much Kitty!

This my first 1-2-1. shoot with Kitty at Synergy Studio on 22 June, and it was totally amazing. She is a beautiful and confident lady, that and has this incredible energy, and enthusiasm, that proved to make working with her thoroughly enjoyable. Kitty has this uncanny ability too, of making you feel you have known her for ever, and proves she is totally there for you. Thank you Kitty.

Kitty works easily without direction, and fitted perfectly into what was asked for. I work towards Fine Art, in nudity, and am developing a new lighting/processing style to support this, and the results, even at shoot stage, were amazing.

We had both brought costume for the shoot, and we also worked on Fashion and Portrait style poses using the same lighting techniques. Here I do give Kitty total credit for her experience and the adaptability to characterisation, to meet that special quality that defines her. It was only a 2 hour session, but it is unbelievable how much was achieved.

Kitty you have my highest recommendation and I do look forward to when we shoot again.

I had my first shoot today with Kitty and hopefully one of many. Kitty is absolutely outstanding as well as being super funny and incredibly creative. I don’t think I mentioned she is very beautiful, poised and elegant. She had brought some very nice lingerie and other clothes and looked amazing in all of them. She is confident and adaptable and was able not only to respond to my requests but to enhance and improve on them. Three hours passed in a flash and although I had many great images I could happily shot on for longer. I would recommend Kitty to anyone. She is a must on anyone’s model list and I hope it won’t be too long before we can shoot together again. ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with Kitty at Synergy on 22 June. It has taken us quite a while to arrange something, but it was so worth waiting for; Kitty is talented, beautiful, friendly, funny, patient and creative. We had an amazing free-flowing shoot with us both bouncing ideas off each other and I just want to do it all again.
