Kit _

Hi folks,

Thanks for checking out my page! I'm primarily a documentary filmmaker and videographer but have always been a bit of a dilettante photographer as well. I'm looking to expand my skills in composition, blocking, and lighting as well as explore the creative possibilities of both still and moving images. I'm looking to work with people with or without experience - as long as they are happy to be patient with a bit of experimentation.

I'm a fan of the bizarre and alternative, always interested in pursuing whatever weird concepts and directions strike. I've got plenty of out there ideas that I would love to realise some day, but initially I am looking to assemble a solid portfolio of foundational work.

I am currently between locations for my work but am primarily based in Kent. Though I am not shooting from a studio I have access to variety of locations (large secluded garden, oast house, and some interesting landscapes). I am interested in working with both natural and studio lighting.

Ideas and themes I find interesting and would like to explore include: Horror, folklore and occultism, unusual approaches to the body, relationships with nature, alienation, gothic/industrial, alterity and transhumanism - in any combination!

Creatives that inspire me include: Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Mothmeister, Duane Michals, H.R Gieger, Jean Painleve, Panos Cosmatos, Guillermo del Toro.
