Yesterday I had my second shoot with Kevin and it was awesome!

Kevin is such a lovely genuine guy that the whole half day just flew by. One of those days where at the end of it you're both bummed out cause you just want it to stay light enough to continue! A really enjoyable afternoon/evening.

We shot a couple of different locations near me, the reservoir and at the top of the gorge. I always want to make sure we're achieving the photographers visions but any time I asked what he was aiming to capture from today he continuously said 'You!' ! So he encouraged me to lead the day with ideas and off we went.

I really enjoyed working with Kevin again and the back of the camera shots looked great. Already in talks for shoots three and four and I can't bloody wait!

Kevin took part in Team Black group workshop hosted at Art Asylum Studio working on using natural light and studio lighting and was an absolute pro from the start!

His pre shoot communications were excellent and very thorough, keeping us up to date from the start. He was polite, professional and super easy to get along with. We've already had the privilege of working with him but it was so good to watch him integrate himself into the shoot with the other photographers.

Kevin didn't hesitate to jump into the shoot and captured some beautiful shots throughout. It was an absolute pleasure to have him on our workshop and we'd happily recommend him to other creative!

I had the recent pleasure of spending a week with Kevin in Crete on a photography trip organised by Models_n_Togs_abroad and though it was Kevins first such trip, he was already a pro. A great team player with a forever smile, working really well with the models and helping out with the boys, it was fantastic to see Kevin gel so well with everyone so quickly.

Very much looking forward to going away with Kevin again and judging by the feedback and results a great companion on any similar organised trip

Had a really fun cosplay shoot with Kevin and Ivy at the BGDC event in Bristol yesterday. It was my first time meeting Kevin and he made me feel at ease straight away. The 3 of us spent the whole time just laughing. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

Today I had an absolutely fantastic first shoot with Kevin!

I haven't worked in a while due to family illness and I feel so grateful that my first shoot back was with somebody so genuinely lovely and a real pleasure to work with.

Kevin contacted me a while back, all pre-comms were great and then before we knew it our shoot date had rolled around. He arrived promptly with smiles all around and instantly cultivated a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. We shot for four hours, a mix of fashion on location around my village and the rest shooting lingerie at my home. The time absolutely flew by and what I saw on the back of the camera was brilliant. I was blown away by his utilisation of natural light and bokeh!

I found Kevin to be friendly, polite, professional and gentlemanly - opening doors for me, checking in with my comfort levels and just generally being considerate and kindhearted. A really great day all around for my reintroduction after a couple months away!

We're already in talks for two more shoots and I can't wait. A big smiley enthusiastic recommendation from me to all models! Thanks so much Kevin, til next time 😊

Kevin recently booked on to our Classic Art Nude workshop and was an absolute joy to work with! His pre shoot communications were excellent, he paid good attention beforehand and asked questions to set himself up for a successful shoot.

Upon arrival he was polite and professional throughout and had compiled a list of questions, again demonstrating his attention to detail. He was respectful throughout and we felt very comfortable in his presence.

Kevin has a good knowledge of photography and really fine tuned those skills throughout the course - focusing on composition and getting the shot as close to perfect in camera as possible.

We had an absolute blast working with Kevin and would happily work with him again. He's a genuine gentleman who truly cares about the best photographic shots possible.

Kevin was so much fun to work with and I truly hope to do so again soon! He booked on to a recent Team Black tuition for Classic Art Nude and was respectful and polite from the very beginning. He made me feel very at ease and was truly delightful to work with. Before the shoot his pre shoot communications were incredible, compiling a short introductory message into his photography so we knew what to work on and what was already perfect.

During the shoot he didn't hesitate to ask questions when he felt it necessary and was enthusiastic from the start. He really listened and aimed to get his composition right in camera, and took on board everything J Black Photographic and myself said.

He really was so lovely to work with and his images came out absolutely beautiful - I can't wait to see the edits!

Absolute pleasure working with Kevin on one of our workshops at the Team Black Home studio. We got through some great sets with Angel using the natural light available combined with some Led/Ambient light which resulted in some absolutely fabulous shots. Highly recommended to all as Kevin and myself bounced off some creative ideas throughout and he certainly has that eye for capturing those unique shots. Very envious on what Kevin left with at the end of the day and looking forward to seeing the final edits!

Kevin is great with the pre communications and sharing of ideas on the lead up to the day so we knew exactly what the vision was.

I had my second shoot with Kevin and oh my gosh was it amazing! We've had this shoot booked for months so had great ideas about what we wanted to do. Kevin executed these perfectly and also had some great improvisation ideas when some of my outfits didn't work! (Luckily I also always bring several spares!). We worked with several kinds of lighting and with a variety of backdrops and props.

Kevin also very kindly took some promotional shots for my books (I'm also a dark romance writer) and I am OB. SESSED. We also extended the shoot and took some beautiful shots with his car in the countryside after we left the studio.

Kevin got the images back to me the same day and I love every single one of them.

Highly recommend this very talented photographer for all levels.

I met Kevin at a CSS event a few months ago and we've been in contact ever since. He loved my idea for a valentines themed GG shoot and agreed to take on the role. We discussed in depth the vine we wanted and various posing styles till we were happy.

Kevin arrived on time, was set up in minutes, got the music going and off we went! Shoot was a good laugh and we achieved everything we wanted and more. Kevin has a great eye for detail and makes sure he takes his time so that every image is set up perfectly. He promted us when needed and helped us to bring our own ideas to life.

I'm so excited to shoot with Kevin again next weekend with his sports car and other things!

Had an opportunity to model for Kevin at a recent Creative collective south west event in Taunton Somerset.

The theme of the evening was "dark nights" and that gave a lot of scope to what art was created!

Kevin shot a series of images of me under U.V. lighting, which was unlike anything I've done previously.

This was a lot of fun and I'm pleased with how the images came out! You can see some on my portfolio!

Kevin is very friendly and personable, and got the edits to me very quickly after the event which was brilliant.
