Bobbi Castle

Another great shoot with KenE. I think this is shoot number three, every time is a joy. I like working with him because he is relaxed and easygoing. I also love the casual shooting style. Less posey if you know what i mean, more natural. We shoot from his home so there is always plenty cups of coffe to. Thanks a lot for another great shoot. I hope we get to do it again sometime.

I sometimes wish I could view the world through Ken's eyes; he has such a specific way of seeing art and seeing me that I cannot express in words. His style/approach to photography is quite different to most people that I work with but if you take a look at any number of the beautiful books he owns you will see how his interests and inspirations from other artist inform his own practice, yet he still has a style very uniquely 'Ken'.

Not only is Ken an incredible photographer/artist but he is also a great person to talk with, he has a lot to say and also creates a safe space in which to talk and I believe this can sometimes be the core of creating very personal, intimate images that I never realised before.

Having seen already a number of images from our recent shoot I am amazed, it's really interesting to see myself in a way that I often don't. A mixture between candid and staged; story telling as a combination of both our visions and stories. I find Ken's work very powerful and moving and I really do wish he'd make a book to showcase his model/people photography!

Needless to say, I think Ken is great and I'm very happy to recommend him to others!

second time working with Ken. He booked me as part of my Scottish tour. I went to his house and we shot a mix of fashion / lingerie and nude. He is a really lovely person and I felt very comfortable working with him. I hope I get the opportunity to do it again some other time. I would recommend him for sure.

It was my first time working with ken during my tour to Aberdeen. I came along to his home for a relaxed looking home shoot. He was really friendly an gave me great direction. I really enjoyed the shoot and can’t wait to see the images. I would recommend him for sure and hope I get the chance to work with him again soon. Thanks a lot for a great shoot.

Yesterday was my second shoot with Ken and it was fabulous! As before his communications were great, even despite a change of date we still managed to find an evening to shoot together (which I was so happy about!) And Ken was a pleasure to shoot with.

I cannot express how much I love shooting with Ken, although very technically competent as a photographer (shooting on three different cameras both film and digital) I would personally class him as an artist due to his approach and style, I feel much more like a muse and artist myself than a model when we shoot (not that one is better than the other, just a very different vibe). We shot a variety of lingerie, nude/semi nude styles throughout the evening and made the most of the natural light in his home, with the occasional bit of on camera flash. Along with shooting, I love chatting with Ken about his inspirations and raiding his bookshelf! This shoot, as last time, was truly inspiring for me and I am still buzzing with creativity!

I cannot recommend him highly enough and hope to shoot together again!

I worked with Ken on my MAMMOTH Scottish Tour recently and had an absolute blast! It was our first time working together so I am always a little nervous, especially being so far from home, but from the offset Ken was SO kind, hospitable and made me feel very welcome!

Ken had very kindly booked me for half a day and after a cuppa, we experimented with a variety of fashion, lingerie and art nude within Kens lovely home, which was very comfortable and pleasant to use. I loved that Ken used a mixture of film and digital cameras and his preference was to shoot with natural light (which is one of my absolute favourites!)

There was also beautiful and intriguing art in the home and photography books/material, so it was very clear to me that Ken took a lot of inspiration in photography and that he is very passionate about it.

I loved his creativity and photography manner- he is such a fab guy to work with and creates beautiful results! I am really looking forward to seeing the uploads and the film! :) He is also very respectful, professional and kind.

Ken is such a lovely person to work with - if you get the chance to, definitely take it! Super highly recommended and really hope to work together again soon, Helen x

Had a wonderful shoot with Ken at his flat in Aberdeen while I was touring Scotland.Ken was so thoughtful , he knew I had not had lunch or a break and went straight from one shoot to his and had to do so again this evening . Therefore he stopped off at a shop and allowed me a lunch break which I was so grateful for . Ken is very restful and I appreciated that. Kens shoot are straight forward and easy going. You can get through a lot of sets in a reasonable pace . I was so chilled and relaxed on Ken shoot. So professional and such a lovely person . Thanks for a great shoot Jessica x

I had a wonderful shoot with Ken E during my Scotland tour last week, his pre-communications were great and everything was very easily arranged. When we arrived at his place, he showed me several books that inspired him which gave me a really good idea of the concept/style for the shoot (it was a really helpful way to start!). Ken has a very relaxed but passionate shooting style and used a variety of film and digital cameras throughout the day. He was happy to show me the results as we went along and gave good direction to achieve the shots he was after.

I really enjoyed the shoot and would love to shoot with Ken again! I'm more than happy to recommend him to others!

Ken and I had a very nice shoot today at his flat in Aberdeen. We agreed everything before the shoot and he was very respectful and everything went perfectly.
