I have spent many years doing landscape and event photography. I have been helping my wife start her modelling career and over the past few year have worked with different models to give my portfolio more diversity. I have been asked to do a lot of performance photography and have been doing work for Drag artists and Burlesque perfromers in the Sussex area. I have lots of ideas but using the same model all the time makes the portfolio less interesting. I am also a model myself (@greygent) and a film actor so am aware of both sides of thr camera.  I make sure that I treat the model with respect and as a person. Being married to a woman model I am aware of some of the horrors that are out there and want to say I am not like that. I feel that talking through the shoot and maintaining good friendly rapport and enjoying the shoot is important.

I am interested in pictures that tell a story, in the quirky, dramatic and theatrical. I have lots of ideas I would like to try including abandoned buildings and incongruity. I love street photography and trying to catch candid shots while the model walks around town.  I am open to suggestion, open minded, and not worried if the model is male or female. I am unconcerned about levels and will shoot any, that is for the model to decide, and if it fits in the style of what we are trying to achieve. 

My  aim is simply to try to get the best shots I can.  My main interest in photography is as an art form and in creativity. I have access to lots of different costumes. I have no concerns about chaperones, but they should be prepared to help out. I do appreciate good pre shoot communication so that we are both prepared for the shoot and can make the best use of our time. My time is precious and if you don't intend to turn up I would rather know about it than waste time getting things ready and turning up to find nobody there.

My wife (@jessica knight) may also help us on shoots, or maybe participate in duo shots if that is appropriate for what we are trying to achieve. I have a small studio space and portable lighting. So it could be your place, my place, location, or hire a studio.  I am currently working mainly on a TF basis, I can make for that by being good company and giving you great images. If we sell anything happy to go 50:50.  You will get everything that is shot and edited copies of the pictures you like. I am happy to pick you up and drive you to any location and buy you tea and buns, gin and tonic or whatever you prefer. I will travel anywhere to shoot. I am fully vaccinated, boosted and very careful.
