Hello, my name's Keith and I have the responsibility for booking models for a portrait group within a local camera club based in Burgess Hill. We aim to organise a shoot every 3rd Friday of the month throughout our season which starts in Sept and ends in May. For a temporary studio we use a local Scouts Hall which is big, spacious and heated during the winter also :) There's a small private office for changing. It's not far from the main London to Brighton line and if coming by car there is ample parking.

We aim to start shooting at 8pm and finish about 10pm. There is usually between 8 and 12 of us attending of mixed ages, sex and ability. Each photographer has 60-90 seconds one on one with the model in rotation. Once everyone has had a turn it's usually a cue for a lighting or costume change until about halfway through the session when it's time for a tea break and natter then back to the second half.

The fee for the 2hr shoot is £70

It can be quite busy time but it's as much a fun social evening as it is a working evening and not taken too seriously
