I have been fascinated by photography for more years than I care to remember, right back to wet printing first black and white then colour. Through my work, as things went digital, I mainly did technical and investigatory images. Since I have retired and the quality of cameras and manipulating software has become both amazing and affordable, I have become involved particularly with portraiture, some amateur, some professional. I have learned a lot by studying the work of others so I guess I have to put some of my own up for scrutiny. Living on the Isle of Wight we have some amazing locations but it has always been difficult, if a model has travelled, to cope with occasional bad weather. So during this period of lockdown I have been putting together my own studio, arranged how I like it and available whenever I like.
